The best Vietnamese restaurant I have eaten in this state. Dalat, menu and services exceeded my expectation. I have eaten alot of Vietnamese food in my days, but Da-Lat entree is not to joke about, its absolutely delicious. The food is well season, and the service is phenomenal. It was a cold day today, so my friend and I decided to try some Vietnamese food. We check the web to find a Vietnamese restaurant and saw some good review for Da-Lat. We decided to stop in to find out for ourselves. We were seated promptly, and felt right at home. The menu was HUGE, but that only tell me that we are at the right place. My philosophy is variety does not equal plain boredom entree. Well, we order this broth noodle soup (Bun Bo Hue), it was DYNAMITE. It was like I was in Vietnam eating the soup, it was very good. The texture and taste was almost perfect. The Soup was rich in spices, and the veggie was fresh. It was just perfect, I dont know if it was the cold weather which make the soup great at the time, but I couldnt get enough. The only conclusion, the Soup was that good. The Service exceeded my expectation, my glass of water was always full. The server was very attentive to everything I request (I can be a fuss when I am eating:) The owner/Chef was very nice and sincere. Overall, I felt right at home. I will HIGHLY recommend people to try Da-Lat. If you truly like food, and willing to try culture food this restaurant should be on your list. Overall, this restaurant is a 5 star gem, if there is a 6 star category, Da-lat would be on it.

DELICIOUS Vietnamese food! My family and I always wanted to visit Vietnam and we just got back from a trip. Da Lat is very good and is comparable to meals we ate in Vietnam. I read the reviews below before trying and even ordered what James called "Spam" below. He is totally off on his opinion! We had the same spring rolls in Vietnam and its called nem nuong. The nem nuong at Da Lat was very good! The bun bo hue was perfect flavoring. The combination appetizer was very filling and should be a meal even though its on the appetizer section. I also ordered a vegetarian entree with egg plants. WOW! Even being a vegetarian entree this was very tasty! Ive introduced Da Lat to many of my friends and they all loved it!!!

One word: Spam. Thats what was in the so-called spring rolls--one fat slice of Spam. And it didnt get much better through dinner. The beef in the Pho looked and tasted like old, wet sock, and my friends combination noodle bowl was, we swear, filled with jerky. Everything tasted off--like it was reheated, or just past its expiration date. The service isnt anything special, either. There are so many good Vietnamese joints on Federal, but I tried this one because of the good reviews. I suggest you avoid it.

Nice and clean restaurant (very positive first impression). Definitely family owned. I had Goi Cuon Dalat (spring roll with nem nuong) and Pho Dat Biet (special soup). Goi Coun was prepared differently than what I was expected (no noodles) but tasty. Pho was great with all of the fixing. Very authentic. I was tired from work and the soup was exactly what I needed. Highly recommended.

We often get a noodle dish here, and the freshly steamed vegetables with the traditionally prepared pho broth (no instant mixes here) are delicious and even make me feel healthy (regardless of the fact I get beef in it). I also love the do-it-yourself wraps. Mine are messy, but fun. Some time the cook sends out dessert fruit, or makes additions to our leftovers, which is very sweet.

Sometimes you just want good service and great tasting food that is healthy and fresh. This place delivers time and time again in a friendly, comfortable family atmosphere. Ive been going to this place for a decade now and theyve been very consistent on the quality of food they bring to the table. Thanks for the good food.

Working my way through every pho place on Federal, this is second to last. Limeade very good. Always get raw steak and well done brisket. This one is OK. Broth is pretty light and doesnt have great flavor. Very fatty cuts of meat. Im all for fatty, but this was half fat

A friend of mine took us here one night and we loved it. The food is delicious, fresh, and really reasonably priced. I love the noodle bowls, particularly the combination noodle bowl. Definitely worth a visit or three, we go whenever we can.

I eat here at least once a week. The food is always exceptional! My favorite dish is the beef pho, which is served with the freshest ingredients and will feed you the next day. Be sure to try their Vietnamese coffee...a must!

I think there has been a change of ownership. 5 years ago this place was the perfect pho dive. Its okay now, but nothing special. The staff was friendly.

Delicious panang curry! This place is open late and had plenty of tables on a Friday evening. Could be a little cleaner, but the staff is very friendly.
