If I could leave a negative star review, I would. Sat down at 5:40 pm and was brought water. My daughter accepted an offer for tea, which was still boiling. Taste upon cooling: dishwater with an aftertaste of burnt oil. Placed our order 10 minutes later. Waited. At 6:00 a family with children were seated. Five minutes later they were served. Bottom line, an hour after being seated and our waitress never glancing at our table we left. 15 minutes later we were at San Chang on Austin Bluffs/Academy, with immediate service and incredible food in less than ten minutes. Same number of clientele. What a difference. I was swayed by the positive reviews but what a mistake that was ! Try San Chang, instead.

Its hard finding a good Korean restaraunt in the Springs. There are actually quite a few places, but the service and the decor makes me not want to return. This place is new and so the tables and chairs are also new and fit the theme nicely. Unfortunately, the service is only marginal. It took the waitress 10 min to bring our first round of waters, and then only when we asked. But the food itself was very good and makes this place worth coming back to. We tried the spicy chicken lunch box, the kim chee chi gae, and bi bim bop. All were good and decent portions. Happy Time is slightly over priced as all K food seems to be. ...will return and see if the service improves.

It was hard for me to find the perfect Korean restaurant near my area until Happy Time was opened. Its the only good Korean in northern Colorado Springs and they are amazing. I am half Korean, so finding a good place tends to be a difficult task. Happy Time definitely meets my expectations with the quality of their food and their prices. The staff is very tentative and very nice. The place has a charming feel to it. If youve been to Korean restaurants, you know they always have that charmingness to them, so dont expect a 5 Star restaurant when it comes to looks. When people ask me where they should go for Korean food, I always tell them Happy Time with no hesitation.

Ive been here twice before but only with a friend and had good service each time. Today, unfortunately was a very poor experience. I walked in alone around 11:45 am and promptly ordered a lunch box and hot tea. Twenty five minutes later still didnt get my hot tea.... And didnt get my lunch either as I had to walk away. People who had been there before me, ordered after I ordered and got their food in this time. Probably not the best idea for a one hour lunch or at all. The lady tried to get me to take it to go.... no thanks. I definitely dont ever need to come back to this place again.

I was stationed in Korea in 2009 and the food was just like being back there, which was wonderful, the portions were wonderfully large but so were the prices which is fair but Im a cheap skate so it still bothered me more than it should have. The service was prompt but quite brisk. The interior was enjoyable but kind of plain, very clean and well organized though. During our visit it was quiet cold in the building but with all the windows and the cold weather its mildly understandable. I am interested in going back to try something new after enjoying my old favorites all over again.

Incredible selection of delicious Korean food! This place is always packed when we come in to eat on the weekend and work week lunch. The food ALWAYS comes out piping hot and fresh. I have never had a bad meal from them when we decide to try a new dish out from the menu. My husband and I have tried other Korean restaurants and they never can stand up to the quality that Happy Time provides in both food and service. You will not be disappointed if you come here for your next meal. This place is a must try for adventurous and traditional eaters alike!

Its a casual Korean bar with pretty good drinking food. We ordered the fried chicken, sweet and spicy wings, spicy octopus and pork, and chicken gizzards. My favorite were the spicy octopus and sweet and spicy wings! Their spicy octopus with rice cake was really good. It had a spicy and sweet taste! Their fried chicken was boring, so Id skip that. Overall, a chill atmosphere to hangout.

The food is pretty good; however, the price of the food is ridiculous for the amount of food that is given. I was charged $17 for a 2oz piece of salmon and $10 for a "cup" of soy bean pace soup. Shinz A Dong on academy is The BEST Korean restaurant in Colorado Springs. The food is absolutely delicious, prices and portions are excellent!!!!

LOVED this place. I had a guide that brought me here who spent years in Korea eating their cuisine. He chose this restaurant as his favorite in the States so far, and I have to agree! Very friendly staff, LOTS of food, and the food was delicious! Very charming.

Good food and a great value. Come hungry and you will still need a doggy bag. The food was authentic and wonderfully flavored but there was a bit of a sandwich-counter feel even though the food was high quality. I recommend but dont expect white tablecloths.

Great place, good service, kimchi is tasty, all the dishes look substantial. Prices seem higher than normal but you gotta consider the location and lack of Korean bbq places here. Overall I would go back over and over again because its also close to my house.

Went here on vacation and it was the best food of the whole trip! The bulgogi was great and the bibimbap was maybe the best Ive ever had. The sides were plentiful, and our whole family of five left full and happy. Wish it was closer to us so we could go back.

Came by here by chance, as I had an errand to run in the area, and little time to grab food. Was pleasantly surprised. Was the kind of food that wasnt loaded up with junk. Very clean and healthy; the kind of core quality food that your body thanks you for.

My brother was in town and wanted real Korean food, so this is where we ended up. It does not disappoint! So flavorful and the service was great. Loved both the bi bim bap and my brother had the spicy bulgogi. Good stuff!

It is my new favorite restaurant in town. The price, the atmosphere, the service, and of course the food is all friendly. Me and my wife had gone there for three times and it never disappoints.

Fantastic food. The spicy beef bulgogi is amazing. Very tender meat with no gristle or fat. Dinner is a little expensive, but it is a lot of food. The lunch specials are the perfect amount.

1st time here and it was amazing. I have eaten in a half dozen places around the Springs and this is hands-down the best. The lunch box is the way to go. Fresh and delicious!

Korean food varies greatly from one to another. I really like the recipes they use and have eaten probably about 2/3rds of their offerings, great side dishes.
