Delicious!!!! Get a variety of food here regularly dine-in and take out. Great service delicious legit Korean food. Definitely one of my favorite spots Edited January 2017: as of recently there are new owners and the food has not been as good as with the past owner. I ordered BIbimbap take out and they forgot the spicy sauce that makes the dish and also forgot the soup, the dish is let cheap so forgetting some key pieces even though its take out is frustrating as a customer to get home and realize its not all there. I also havent been the biggest fan of the banchan (side dishes) since new ownership. Im going to give it another try but its very disappointing, they have also changed the menu and pricing so beware. I also agree with the comment below about new staff, they were a but rude and even WAY overcharged me for the super messed up order above, I showed her the new menu and the price and she said oh well ok. Really!? So check your bill and know the prices of what youve ordered.

In a word...astonishing. I was definitely not looking forward to spending Christmas alone, but as I drove through the city and saw every place closed, I was getting disheartened that I would be going hungry too. I saw Gold Town and it was open! The reviews were great, so I was excited to try it out for the first time. Not only was the waitress who served me polite and attentive, but she was extremely knowledgeable about their (huge) menu. I was amazed not only at the generosity of their portion sizes, but at the fact that everything they served me was bursting at the seams with flavor. The food was very well-cooked, well-seasoned and very delicious. The staff at Gold Town took what could have been a sad Christmas afternoon for me and turned it into a great experience that left me not only pleasantly stuffed but very glad that I happened to drive by their restaurant in the first place. Their excellent reviews are well-earned and Im happy to contribute to them.

The food was good, but the service, cleanliness, and drink were terrible. At first the waitress seemed nice enough, but once I ordered my drink things went downhill. I ordered a Dr. Pepper, which tasted terrible. So I decided to get a water instead. The water tasted like it came from a dirty faucet. After that I was told that it came with edamame. I saw her grab a handful of edamame from a pot in the back without washing her hands (keep in mind I had also just watched her clear a table) after she grabbed the handful she The preceded to smell the edamame and put it in a bowl. Thats when she looked thru the doorway, once she noticed me looking at her do this she rushed to the back. So finally after receiving my food I asked for a small plate in order to mix my bulgogi and rice. There was a hair on that plate... this place was once my favorite restaurant, but once they remodeled it went to crap. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The was my second time eating Korean BBQ but my first time cooking the BBQ ourselves at the table. It was as good as it looked in the Korean dramas! I liked the beef brisket the best. The salad did not taste good, and my Japanese friend said it is because the vegetables and lettuce were old. The side dishes were okay. The rice was good. The Sundubu was really good. The sushi was really good too. My sister ordered the seafood salad, and she was disappointed with the large plate of lettuce and just a little bit of just one kind of fish. The BBQ was so much fun! And they had complementary vanilla ice cream at the end. Overall, I will probably go back tomorrow. Now I know exactly what I will order next time.

Just recently, this place has hired whole new wait staff, and lets just say Im not impressed. Their old staff got their jobs done successfully and were extremely polite, and now they overcharge people. Their menu prices have gone up too. This used to be a go-to spot for my family, but we are now avoiding this place. Today, we went for a nice Christmas dinner, to only realize that we had been overcharged on multiple entréés. Our tip was even doubled. I would suggest checking your final bill before paying and leaving to make sure you werent overcharged for anything. They overcharged us $50! On the bright side, their food is still pretty good.

Pricey so my friend and I were going to split a plate of bul-go-gi one afternoon. And we drew looks that to be kind might be seen as displeased. They only brought kim-chi and the the majority of the customary garnishes after having to directly ask. The music in the restaurant was rap/hip-hop which didnt quite suit the decor. And of course I we had to shout into the kitchen to even find someone so we could get a refill. The dish was solid and the place looked decent, so 2*s

I was with a group. No one got their food at the same time. Half of us didnt get our salads. The tickets were split but 2 people got charged double gratuity. (Split an order of sushi that already had it , then it was added again.) No where is it posted gratuity is auto added when group of 6. Server was terrible and rude. And the food was overpriced. So disappointed. It was barely edible. And I think I got food poisoning ( my dish was cooked in the kitchen.)

Almost swallow the Aluminium Foil in the tofu soup. Cannot imagine how that will hurt my body. I asked to waive meal fee, and the waitress said "OK". However, the manager became extremely angry when check out and call 911 say "a Asian criminal here want free lunch". I am fine to pay the meal as long as they apology. But they didnt. The racist manager looks want to revenge people-of-color in a rude manner. All my friends will never ever ever ever come back.

I was such a fan of this place, but the past few times my husband and I have gone weve been disappointed. I guess the old owners left and I can taste the difference in the kimchi alone. There is no spice or depth to it at all. Its sour and also oddly sweet. Kimchi makes the meal. If the flavor is off, the whole meal is off. Ill give them some time and try again. Maybe this time theyll also serve the food we asked for.

Buffet was super bad. Really wish I had driven down the road and gotten something better but instead ended up at the neglected step child of a buffet. Chicken tasted like it was on the edge and the sushi was about as fresh as yesterday bath water. The food my friends ordered off the menu was much better but the sides arent quality items. Ive only been once and I think that was enough for me.

I just love this place, Korean food has always been my favorite and I am so excited that FINALLY Northwest Arkansas have a Korean Restaurant. They serve almost all authentic Korean food I can think of, I also like that they have Korean BBQ available the way that is done in major cities like NY and CA. If you like ASIAN food, this is definitely a place you MUST TRY!!!

More Korean than Japanese. You cant compare this place against other Korean restaurants on K town in dallas, LA, SF, etc, but for a local Korean establishment, you can get your fill of Korean favorites like Kim Bop, Kim chi, BBQ, or sushi. I would skip the latter as they dont have as many sushi customers as other sushi joints in town.
