Omg sooo good!! I showed up around.... 8:05pm, mind u they close at 9. I was welcomed right away, as I perused the menu I explained to the gentleman at the counter that it was my first time there and I was unsure of what to get. I looked down and saw they had sushi burritos!!!! Before he could even suggest anything I was like omg u have sushi burritos!?!?!? (I have wanted one since last September and didnt know I could find one here in Colorado Springs!) He looked in the case and said oh I dont have any made right now, before I could even look sad, he said "Ill make u one right now" already impressed, I was like hell yea! I picked the salmon bacon. Now I didnt realize that this meant they were going to have to take out stuff they put away already, if I did I would have glady picked sumthing else to eat. But he did this with a smile on his face and that meant sooo much to me considering the recent experience I had at sushi ring II. I did tip more than I normally would have simply because he took the time to prepare my order an hr before close even though it was a hassle. (I took my order to go) I was thanked numerous times for coming in and I will return not only because of the way I was treated but also because my sushi burrito was delicious!

I really dont care about the negative reviews of this place. I rarely review anything let alone places I actually enjoy. Its a lot easier to write about a horrible experience than a good one. I had seen in about a year ago, but never actually went in or really looked at it because take home sushi just isnt good, right? Well after eating at several upscale and expensive Japanese resturants in town I found myself looking for the same quality for less money. I tried the new sushi at Safeway (surprisingly not that bad), making my own (horrible), and local take out sushi places. After getting a horrible bento box, I found Bento Heaven on google and decided I wanted to try it. I figured it couldnt be worse than the last bento box I had. Today I got a teriyaki beef bento for myself and thought itd be good at best. I took one bite and it completely blew my expectations out of the water! I cant stress how amazing it was, their food is just that good! If you enjoy sushi or Japanese food in general do yourself a favor and at least try it once regardless of any expectations you have!!

Ill preface with, nice people, free samples, clean place. The teriyaki sauce is a little salty and actually doesnt taste like any teriyaki sauce Ive ever tried... and Ive tried quite a variety of teriyaki sauces. I gave the rest to my boyfriend who also mentioned the saltiness. The miso soup was very bland almost tasteless, used an entire packet of soy sauce to add some flavor. The dressing on the chunks of lettuce was also tasteless, and although I was offered more, I declined on the fact that it didnt taste like anything in the first place. The potato noodles were ok, never tried them before. The chicken itself seemed to be moist and juicy. I guess Im more annoyed that this meal that didnt even include a drink was like $10-11 bucks, dont exactly recall, but way to high for food of this quality. I dont mean to be rude, but it was a waste of money, I didnt even finish the meal

Kind, friendly and family run. They knew my name after a couple of visits. Excellent Korean food. Like any Korean restaurant should, they give you plenty of food for your buck. Im not a fan of food sitting in a heater for an undisclosed period of time for the sake of speed. No sign of that here. The food is made fresh from what I can tell. This means you might have to wait a few minutes, but its worth it in my opinion. Still faster than most restaurants that are not considered fast food. Try the spicy pork. The cucumber kimchi is wonderful and wont scare off anyone cautious of spicy food. Miso soup is also great (this coming from a guy who has spent a good deal of time in Korea eating food with Korean family), which comes with the meal.

I ordered the crunchy California roll, spicy tuna roll and a pork katsu. Upon coming to this place its definitely just a carry out restaurant. Its small with 4 small tables if you even call them that. The rolls were mediocre, I would have rather went to Whole Foods and take out sushi from there because they had premise rolls...which isnt fresh. The salad was old and browning that came with the katsu. The pork katsu was overcooked and a bit dry. I wouldnt come here again. The customer service wasnt great either. The cashier seemed as though he didnt even want to be there.

Absolutely the WORST sushi Ive ever had. Worse than old grocery store sushi. I ordered the rainbow roll and the salmon looked like plastic. I dont even know that it was real salmon. My friend ordered the curry chicken bowl which had a decent flavor, tasted like a package mix, but the chicken was undeniably pink. We politely let the worker know and he remade a roll for me and said the cook was "new." Super nice employee but absolutely terrible quality food. Yuck.

Cozy place - friendly staff While I stopped in for a quiet meal during off-peak hours, their options were plentiful. I chose to skip the daily special (didnt want spicy @ night), ordere off the menu. Serving sizes are generous; I enjoyed a chicken teriyaki bowl with a full serving of chicken, the right amount of vegetables, and noodles over a mound of rice. This is worth visiting for a taste of Japan in spite of the parking pain (try after 6pm).

Honestly this is probably one of my favorite places in the springs. Its a wonderful little shop with the best Japanese food you can get, and its really fairly priced. My favorite is their pork cutlet bento, because its so well seasoned, but the chicken teriyaki was perfect too. The people working were nothing but polite and lovely. Good food, good company, good price. I would recommenced it to anyone who loves Japanese food and is down here.

I was so impressed! As I walked down the street, Sam motioned for me to come in and try a sample. It was delicious!! I came in the next day and he made my vegetarian boyfriend a custom roll unlike any other vegetarian roll hes ever had. The bathroom and restaurant are both very clean and inviting. Everything they make is unique and delicious, Sam recommended a few things that I was skeptical about but ended up LOVING. Ill definitely be back!

I grew up in NYC and I loved eating in Chinatown. I always miss good Asian food which isnt always easy to find in these mountains. But Bento Heaven is a breath of fresh air. The food is great and the people who work there are very helpful and friendly. I may not look like much but the food is great. Give it a try, the food is very reasonably priced. You wont regret it.

Had the dynamite roll, and its one of the best spicy tuna Ive had in a while. This is a quick casual place to eat. Really fresh ingredients. When asked, they make their sushi fresh that day to cater to the lunch rush w nearby offices. Many professionals having lunch while I was there, but it was easy to get a table for a quick bite.
