The Rudest and worst service I have ever experienced. Completely unwilling to fix their mistakes. I was with Amanda for lunch that day. The waitress and the owner were rude and disrespectful. When the issue of hair being in our food was brought up, nothing was done. The waitress said uh ok with aattitude, and said she would tell the kitchen. No one came to us again until maybe 20 minutes later we called the waitress over to ask what was going to be done about this. To which her response was to argue that it wasnt a black hair so its not theirs. Mind you, we showed her the hair was string through the noodle, obviously baked in. She was rude the entire time were explaining the issue. Not once was it offered to remove her meal from the check. We were offered 10% off our bill. We did not ask for our entire bill to be waived. Amanda simply stated that we should not have to pay for her food that she was 2 bites into when finding a hair. Then when we got up to pay the owner started rudely telling us how we have to pay . Made accusations that we always complain and were just trying to get free food. 1st None of us have ever complained there. It has been our lunch destination for years. I love their food. 2nd none of us are more the 5 bites of food, so what food exactly were we trying to get for free? It was completely unacceptable. When we pay we had to ask them to give the 10% they offered which the owner rudely added we could only gave off the one plate making a total discount of $1. Like I said I loved their food, my husband and I attend often on our date nights. But after this experience and after feeling such total disrespect, I will not return. And I will be sure to make sure anyone I know is aware of this terrible experience Its absurd.

Worst customer service!!! STAY AWAY DO NOT EAT HERE. My husband and I used to rave about the food they made here. Our first experience was great! We dined in and had a friendly waiter and really enjoyed their food. Our second and third experiences were horrible. The great waiter we had the first time was not there and we were stuck with a horrible waiter with NO PERSONALITY. He didnt come out and ask if we needed anything or checked on us at all. He took our order and brought our food. We left unhappy and did not tip our horrible waiter. We tried the restaurant again tonight. We had the same horrible waiter. We should have just walked out once we saw him. He took 10 minutes to refill my husbands half full cup of soda this visit. Checked on us twice this time. We got our check and saw that they had put a MANDATORY tip for our table. The owner tried to tell me it was because we have 5 people. We have 2 adults, 2 toddlers, and a 8 month old. The check only said 4 guests on it. When I questioned the number he put on the check he told me it was a mandatory tip because "we never take care of our server." Im assuming he must be related to the waiter since he did not care when I expressed the horrible service we recieved. Its not like the server was busy. There was no one else in the resturant and there wasnt the last 2 times either. Now I understand why. They might make a good sesame chicken but Mandrin Chef Express is better.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Colorado Springs. Especially at dinner time. It is been years my family has always come here to get good food. I always order either the large Wonton soup, Sesame Chicken, Mongolian Beef, szchuan chicken or Orange Chicken. Its very tasty and I have two kids a 7year old and a 3 year old they eat all on their plate. The staff and the waiters are very kind and attentive. The owner is also very nice, and we always look forward to seeing their happy faces when we dine there. We have also been there for the buffet at lunch time with the price $8... its worth it ! I never give any reviews or comments in anything, but Im disappointed to read the poor reviews about this restaurant, I believe it is because people are not appreciative or satisfied anymore, just selfish. The whole staff are hard-working, clean and the hospitality atmosphere. They are good at what they do and how they run the restaurant (as family). I hope in the future they will start serving wine, it would go good with my monggolian beef.... :) I would personally recommended to people, especially to all my friends to come and try this place, they voted for best chinese from Independent Magazine.

Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I want to give them no stars. I went to the buffet, found a HAIR cooked into my food three bites in, and they refused to apologize or acknowledge the issue. In fact they argued with me and both the waitress and the manager were extremely disrespectful. They made me wait to even talk to them. The waitress told me "I kept talking at her" and checking her watch. The manager said I always complain (I have never complained there. EVER.). I gave them better customer service than they gave me. That is a problem. They really just dont care. It all just became too awkward, and clear that it is impossible to reason with them or get through to them. I ended up having to pay for three bites of hair infused food. It was disgusting and unacceptable. Im telling everyone I know not to go there, and in doing so have heard other horrifying stories about this Coal Mine Dragon (on 8th St.) in just the past couple days. Its amazing this place is still in business. Hopefully people read this and can avoid the unhygienic and honestly, mediocre food I was forced to endure.

Awful. I was SO sick last winter and wanted to (craved) bring home some comforting Won Ton Soup and I swear it was so salty I gagged (sorry for the graphic description but you need to know this) I have gone to the one on Uintah for decades, but having moved, this 8th St. location was closer and I thought Id save the few miles... NEVER again. I am actually on my way to the GOOD Coal Mine Dragon in my old neighborhood in a few minutes to satisfy my current craving! I had to look up the phone # and that is what reminded me to review this other so-called so-so restaurant. Also, the adolescent who handled the transaction could not have been more disengaged, rude, and disinterested at the time. This is notable as there was NOBODY in the place besides him and I, save for a presumed "cook" (?) Uh Uh, nope, not me!

Very unprofessional. Came there at least half an hour before they closed and they turned us away for sit down. Ive been to many other restaurants and never had been turned down even 15 minutes before closing. To top things off they did not offer any sincere apologies or even offer a special deal or coupon to bring us back another time. We said we will be back tomorrow and they said we are not open tomorrow, not even giving us information when we should come back or when they would be open (even when the info is available it is nonetheless discorteous and unprofessional).
