I took the wife here for Crab legs, we arrived at around 3:00 which was still during the lunch hours. The waiter informed us that we had arrived during lunch and wanted to know if we wanted the dinner items as Dinner was more expensive. We had gone there for the Crab, so we like the fact that they asked and explained. We will now go after 4pm on a Sunday so that the dinner line is fully setup. The normal rules for Buffets apply. You want to get the food when it comes out fresh, so if the place isnt that busy, you might be waiting for a while to get that fresh dish of what you wanted. We got there before the changeover from Lunch to Dinner, so they did bring out a lot of fresh new items for dinner that were not on the Lunch menu. I did notice later on during our meal that they removed the old dumplings and brought out fresh ones even though the old container was still 1/2 full. We went for the Crab Legs, and we were not disappointed. I would say that the crab was a little bit better than Ultimate Buffet. We didnt try the small Mongolian BBQ that they had. The building is older and could use some re-modeling, but that is what I expected from the lower rent part of town. I wasnt going there for the Decor, but for the food. We did like the big fish tank that was right inside the door. The wife did comment that the Hot and Sour soup was acceptable, but not outstanding. (She rates Chinese based on the soup) The cheese rangoons used the wrong wrap IMO. it was a thicker harder shell than the thin crispy one that I like. We did like the fact that the waiter would bring us a fresh shell plate when he cleared off the full one. Another plus IMO is the fact that they were not full and we didnt have to wait 15-20 minutes before we were seated.

Not pleasant...and i mean that literally. When i arrived, two other couples walked in about five minutes after i arrived. They were acknowledged and seated before me, even though the new arrivals pointed to me that i was there first. THEN, i asked about the menu, and started to place an order for take out. I asked if there was a like container i could just fill off the buffet instead of ordering $40 worth of food for one person. She said sure, and handed me the smallest little Styrofoam container, which i had to pay for prior to checking out the buffet selections. As I was being rung up, a gentleman came up to the register and told her that they had ordered three adult drinks and a child drink and were still waiting on their childs drink. She told him that the child can drink out of the adults beverage (which is kind of gross since the chances of catching cooties from kids is high this time of year) So with all of this, i still went to check out the buffet. And guess what...they didnt have anything that i wanted off of the buffet, and now i was stuck with this $14 container, which i had to fill with a bunch of crap that i didnt want...what was in the menu was NOT on the buffet. Needless to say, this is not the first experience at this place. I took my mother who is wheelchair bound in there once, and that was a huge mistake...no room, and they sat us in the tightest section i had ever seen...and the place was NOT handicap accessible! So all in all...dont waste your time. Service is NOT friendly, hostess is rude as hell, and the food is not something to write home about.

Some friends took my wife and I to this restaurant a few days ago after we helped them renovate their house. My regular place is Ultimate Buffet so I was already not feeling it when we walked in and had a 30 minute wait for a table of 5. The selection isnt really that great. The crab legs came out way over cooked and stuck to the inside of the shell (I was born and raised in New Orleans). The crab wontons were over fried and dark brown with almost no filling. My drink never got refilled the entire time we were there. The counter tops and floor were covered in more food than were in the buffets warming bins. Sushi was OK for buffet sushi when someone didnt take a whole plate of the same roll. Unattended children who could barely see over the top of the counters were attempting to serve themselves because lazy/uncaring parents have no respect for others. And when everything was said and done the bill came out at almost 100$. NEVER will we eat here, even if someone else pays for it again. The one positive thing was the make your own Mongolian plate. But that took 30 minutes between waiting in line and cooking. Better off going 3 minutes up Powers and hitting up HuHot (faster service because all they do is Mongolian) or 2 minutes north past that and going to Ultimate Buffet (more seating, cleaner, more selection, drinks get refilled, friendlier staff)

Ive been going to this restaurant for years. The food is very yummy. 2 complaints... they need to redo their seating. Ripped seats on the booths that are taped. Looks pretty tacky and some of the booth seats arent even adhered to base anymore. Unsafe. Also, the bathroom is not cool with me. Knobs broken off of the sink faucets, the pedal that you push to get the paper towels to dry your hands isnt ever in the "up position". You have to grab it to raise it and then push it down to get a towel. For me, sensor faucets and towel dispensers are the way to go. They also might want to consider having someone do spot checks in the bathroom for clogged toilettes, counters covered in water and soap because the soap dispenser leaks... stuff like that. I must admit that all the rough edges that they present to the customers make me wonder what the kitchen looks like where the customers never go. Hmmmm. All in all though, Ive been going there for years and they food has always been very very good.

got take out. I usually go to mandarin chef, so i will compare. this place has much better sesame chicken. oh and they are a buffet, but they still cooked it fresh. the wonton soup here has high quality wontons, with lots of filling. the broth is good, the flavor is less concentrated than at mandarin. the lo mein is about equal in quality and flavor, i did get a lot of shrimp in my order. just add soy sauce and its real good. big portions. good rangoons, not over or under cooked. i like they put soup containers in a plastic bag in case of spills. the chicken on stick was cooked just right. i really cant get over how good the sesame chicken was. more bold , not just sweetness. my son really loved the wonton soup. i will def go back and try the buffet, interested to see if the sushi is good.

Great food for a great price BUT I placed an order online tonight (as I have multiple times before), got the order confirmation, receipt and estimated delivery time, and then never received my order. I gave them an hour and a half before calling to ask where my order was. They said they didnt check the online orders tonight because they dont get many online orders... Didnt offer to get my order prioritized and to me quickly or any kind of future discount. Had to speak to the owner just to get the charge taken off my credit card (which the website is happy to take and save for you). So be warned, dine-in or phone them ONLY.
