We just returned from dinner here, and I have to say: This place is amazing. The food was excellent, the prices reasonable, and the service was outstanding. Darla was one of the best servers Ive ever had. The vegetarian fajitas were well flavored, the carnitas were moist and delicious. The fried ice cream was definitely in the top ten of all time (this from a TX native). The food was hot and fast, especially for as busy as it was. The price was pretty good, $53 for 4 people with sodas and a dessert. The decor is run of the mill for your average, older Mexican food joint, although Darla hinted that they were updating their image a little bit in the near future. All in all, I give the place 4.5 out of 5 stars, and will be happy to spend my money there again.

I have ordered from this company once and I will NEVER go back...We ordered a stuffed sopapilla with no guacamole and 2 chimichanga plates, and the "sopapilla" ended up being a soggy tortilla with some stuff on it, and it came with guacamole and the person that ordered it is allergic. When we called to tell them, Darla the supposed "store manager" was very rude and told my co-worker shes wrong, it wasnt soggy it was crunchy...worst customer service we have ever gotten, and expecting us to leave work again and drive another 10 minutes to bring back your soggy incorrectly made crap to get our money back is even shittier...So good luck with your overpriced dog food, we will take our business elsewhere.

We use to like this place, but the last time we went the staff said we could have a table outside as soon as the table outside left. Well when they left, we went to go sit out there, and we were told no, even by the same waiter that said we could. When I went to confront them on the situation and asked to speak to the manager. The manager took our tickets, and then brought them back with NO discount at all, like we wouldnt notice, than when I talked to her about that she said they never discount food, and tried to offer us coupons, NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. Food was bland, and not cooked right either, the cheese wasnt even melted right in the new mexican egg rolls.

Great addition to the neighborhood! Although we still miss Bourbon Street where El Sr. Sol is now located on the SW corner of Belleview and Yosemite, were thrilled that this Mexican restaurant has taken its place. There is an extensive menu although I didnt see one of my favorites, Mole Polano or better yet, Mole Pepián. I had Tacos Al Carbón and my husband enjoyed Carne Adobada. The chips are freshly made and the salsa has a nice kick! Great value, friendly staff, wonderful service and fun decor. They are even open on Sundays! Were telling our families and friends about this place.

Just moved to the area and this place is convenient near Shops At South Glen where there are some really nice places to eat. A friend and I went for my birthday to check it out because we are Mexican Food connoisseurs being from Texas. This small quaint restaurant was awesome. The food was fresh with an very authentic taste. I got the sampler appetizer for my meal and it was more than enough food. Check this place out. Its a must!

Over the past year this place was shut down while they rebuilt after a car crashed into it. They should have stayed closed. Over priced, small portions and horrible service. You can see how they cut corners with cheap silverware, lame decor and really tacky orange paint. We tried it about 2 years ago and it was bad. Its worse now. Its a mile from our house. What a bummer.

I got horrible customer service from them, and i barely dipped my toe in the water with this one. I called to see if they carried the glass bottles of coke at their restaurant, which is fine either way if they do or dont. But all they did was hang up on me for even asking about it. What gives? Now i definitely know i dont wanna eat there.

They were friendly, but everything was just okay and it was overpriced. They definitely did not skimp on the meat for the carnitas tacos, but I just had tacos at an authentic place by my home that were incredibly more flavorful and literally a tenth of the price which put it more into perspective.

The wait staff has always been really friendly with us. They get to know the kids and its always a pleasure to go in there. Service can be slow if there is a big lunch rush as there are only one or two servers on the floor. The food is really good and I have never had a bad experience.

Really great Mexican food in a relaxed environment with friendly service. The prices are right as well. Our service was attentive and friendly, although the margaritas left some to be desired. Deserves a visit for the eats and cozy atmosphere.

Great food, went on a date lunch with my husband. We both loved it. Prompt service, portions were enough for lunch and dinner for both of us. Food was hot, drinks were cold. Would definitely go there again.

Sure want downhill since we are there last. Guacamole was brown and obviously not fresh. Disappointed. Even 2 high school football players were not happy with their food and they will eat almost anything.

Food was delicious. However, it took 45-60 minutes for us to get the food and we had to track down the waiter to get the check. The only time we saw our waiter was when she asked for our order.

Really tasty mexican food. Its a bit small but the turn around was really fast so we didnt have to wait very long for a table. If you like real mexican food, you should try this place.

A decent place for some average mexican food. I wish that I could rave about the place, but there was just nothing spectacular about it. Not terrible, not great... just okay.

Great Pregnant Burrito. Small and quaint. Busy at dinner time but worth the wait. Order a medium margarita and you will have to have someone else drive home!

We LOVE this place and have been coming here since they opened. Darla is the heart of the place, with an exceptional team to support her...George and Benny. <3

Fun Mexican atmosphere. I highly recommend the pregnant burrito. The chili relleno inside is a great little bonus if you choose. Delicious and great service.

I dont know what the others are smoking, but we had very good service at lunch. This one is small but the food is top notch (the shrimp tacos were awesome).
