Food was average and inconsistent. Red Chile outstanding, salsa tasted like dirt and chips out of a bag. Burrito good, chile rellenos just ok. The décor and menu seem old and run down. And, beware, they will nickel and dime you for anything you ask for. I should have known by the 10 chips and salsa we got to start with. In fact, they ask if you want lettuce and tomato (like it comes on the item) and then charge you $2.10 extra for it. Extra charge for a tiny cup of pico for your taco or sour cream, 25 cents per extra tortilla if you need one more for your $16 fajitas. No sides for the small street tacos. And the best part? When you mention it, they actually say they agree but the owner doesnt care. Save yourself a trip and go to a food truck or a tiny cafe on Federal instead, same food and I bet you get sour cream for free if you want it on your taco!!

I arrived to an empty hostess stand aND a line of people in front of me. When she finally came back, I was seated first, though the other parties had been waiting longer and would have been able to fit in the booth I was given. Once seated, it took about 5 minutes for the first person to come by my table, then another 10 minutes for the waiter. I ordered tamales which are my favorite Mexican food. Shockingly, my meal came out about 5 minutes later. The menu said the filling was pork, but what was inside was a puree of something that didnt taste much like pork. There was no seasoning whatsoever in the filling or masa. I will never go back.

The food was ok, not great. I was disappointed by the nachos that we ordered. We were expecting a pile of nachos with all of the toppings all over the pile of nachos. Instead, there were about 8 nachos on the plate covered in a lot of cheese, and the guacamole and other toppings were in the middle of the plate. I would not have ordered that if I had seen a picture of it on the menu.

Have been there twice with parties of 6 or more of Mexican food loving people. Both times the consensus has been one of bland, generic dishes. If you like your Mexican food full of cheese but not a lot of flavor or spice, this place probably is a good fit. But if youre looking for something a bit more on the authentic side, keep on driving.

Bad wait staff. Our waiter was very non attentive. The vibes I got was that he was there for the pay check not for the customers. He improved his additude at the end of our visit when it was tip time. I did not think he was worth more than 10%. Will not return! Otherwise the owner was very nice and the food was reasonable & delicious.

Yuck.. Super disappointed..FIRST and LAST TIME!!!... over priced disgusting "steak" fajitas for 2 people (FYI not enough for 2 people) they served the 10 TINY strips of gross FATTY CHEWY TASTLESS meat on a bed of soggy onions and red peppers along with 3 tortillas...SO NOT WORTH IT!!! Really a TOTAL RIP OFF!!!

They charged one dollar for a second basket of chips. Waiter did not understand English. I said no tomatoes and when I received my order, it came with extra tomatoes. I returned my order but I was still charged for my entre. The other food lacked the Mexican spices and sauces. I would skip this place.

The first time I came it was amazing. But thats as far as it goes when I ate here the second time I asked for fish tacos and they came back with the WORST fish taco I have ever seen it was seriously just a fish stick in a hard taco shell

This is not authentic mexican food at all. Gave it the benefit of the doubt the first time. The second time was it for me. Everything is overpriced. I live in lone tree but will drive to denver for REAL mexican food.

This place is the best, I go here every Friday night. The margaritas are strong and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend to anyone. Also, try the Tacos al Carbon, they are my favorite.
