I contacted the manager of the restaurant and he kept on telling me that I was a LIAR and they passed inspection that day which was a Sunday how ironic is that I would never recommend anybody to eat here or deal with their lack of service or respect for their clients. Travelers, dont let the closeness of this restaurant fool you for a late night meal. I regret not going to McDonalds across the street. A friend and I went to grab a bite and when we got there we stood for five minutes before we got seated. Once we did it appeared we were inconveniencing the waitress as she sat us down. Once seated, we received a basket of crumbled chips and a small bowl of salsa. Disappointing. We knew our orders fairly quickly as we both wanted to just share an appetizer. We then proceeded to sit for 15 minutes until our order was taken. During this time, I saw a few more customers come in and I no kidding saw two of the ladies slam their hands in frustration as they did not appear eager or happy to serve the next customers which was another disappointing moment I witnessed. Our order was finally taken. Several minutes later, the biggest disappointment of the night came with our food. Going to Taco Bell would have been far more appetizing than soggy nachos, a weak cheese quesadilla and taquitos. What hurt worse was I spent 18.00 dollars on two dollar food. Im not the type to complain in public so I waited til I could write a review. Ive been to many wonderful Mexican restaurants and enjoy supporting new ones. However AJUUA needs to step up their game and respect their customers and provide a meaningful eating experience instead of manipulating hotel customers. I truly hope no one loses out on hard earned money like I did.

My family and I went in for the first time yesterday. We have seen it but never actually got our attention to eat there, we only went in because it was late and the other Mexican restaurants we frequent are pretty far from home. We were sat down pretty fast. The place was fairly empty. The waitress was really nice not at all rude. BUT THE FOOD!! When it arrived I can honestly say it looked gross. The rice looked like plastic. I mean I have trouble cooking rice but what I do looked better than what was there. It was so chewy not good at all. The green Chile was so sour I was only able to eat the meat. I tried my kids French fries and they looked like they had been deep fried more than once. Once we left I told my husband I didnt like it and he said "me neither". Late at night my stomach started hurting and I had to miss work. My baby girl told me in the morning that she does NOT want to return to that place again her stomach was also hurting. And believe me we wont!! I dont like writing reviews (this is my first) but because I havent been able to leave the restroom I said to myself "Hey why not" hopefully it would be a heads up for someone that would like to eat there.

This was the worst restaurant experience of my life. I am from out of town and the restaurant being close to our hotel seemed like a convenient place to eat. When we got there we were standing at the front for at least 10 minutes without being greeted by a host or anything. We were about to leave when a lady takes us to our table. There were only 2 ladies up front and it was hardly busy, but they shouldve had more staff at hand. We ordered our food and waited forever for it to cook, the reason why Im assuming is because they had one cook in the back. When we got our food it was very disappointing, did not look appetizing at all. Didnt taste appetizing. At the end our check ending up being 90 dollars, they added the tip themselves so we had to pay it. It was 20% and the service we received was not even worth that. Also they had incense sticks light the whole time very perfumey and annoying. Very angry with this place will NOT return and I suggest you dont even try it.
