I dont think I have ever written a review of a restaurant before, but I felt like I had to this time. My work ordered from here and the whole experience was horrible. Where to begin... Well they forgot one order, the sodas tasted flat and watery, I found a hair in my macaroni and cheese, the food was horrible. Every single person ate about a third of it and threw it away, and we all got different things! Even the fries were inedible. It was like everything you fear when going to a restaurant happened. Most of us had never eaten there including myself, so I dont know if this was just a bad day for them or what. I will say the one good thing was they know how to make sweet tea. I dont foresee ever trying them again :/ Very disappointed.

I feel that this restaurant, though tasty, is not worth going back to. Not only was it overpriced ($10 for a plate with one piece of meat, two sides and bread...not toast...bread. Drink was not included. And no choice of different BBQ sauces), but not well kept up. We had a toddler and both of the high chairs had broken straps so we had to spend our whole meal making sure he didnt fall out of it, which he nearly did twice. The parking was atrocious. I could get a better, cheaper and more versatile meal from Dickeys BBQ.

This place is so great! BBQ is incredible, baked beans are the best Ive ever had (not even exaggerating), and the mashed potatoes have chunks of savory potato goodness. The meat is perfectly smoked and the BBQ sauce is the best combination of sweet, tangy and smoky. The owner is so kind and generously allowed us to try his gumbo and jambalaya and that too, is probably some of the best Ive had! Cant wait to come back and wished there was another location in Denver!

We just got done eating here. My husband and I are traveling back to Denver after visiting my brother in law in Colorado Springs. My husband wanted BBQ. He had the brisket and pulled pork and I had chili cheese fries. They met my expectations and then some. They close at 6 on Sundays during winter and still welcomed us in 20 mins before close. It was spotless and friendly. Randy the owner was very pleasant. Thanks again for the hospitality.

Pulled pork was ok (slightly smoky, good texture), but it was sparingly served on a huge stale hoagie that took away from the overall meal. Way too much bread, way too little meat. Potato salad was ok - a little runny but flavor wasnt bad. The big stale hoagie ruined it for me. It looks like it was done for presentation and was old and dry. Theyre in competition with Dickeys for the worst BBQ meal in town.

This place spends a lot of time preparing their meat and their sides are sooo good. Family run business and at times service is a little slow, but they always serve the food hot with a friendly smile. These people are down to earth and those who say they are dirty must not like casual dress. We come here often and have yet to have a bad experience.

This place is the best bbq place. They have awesome hot links, baked beans are delicuos and have never liked baked beans. If you like breakfast burritos with a little kick and huge flavor stop by first thing in the morning. Juicy beef and pork. I could go on by just go there and find out for yourself. A place that treats u like family.

I wasnt expecting such good food ... I thought this was going to be a sit down order from a menu kinda place. Its like ordering from a fast food joint, only the food is fantastic, the portions are generous, and they warm up the peach cobbler for you. Theyll bring it out to you when youre ready for it.

I have been eating regularly at Old West Bar B Que for few years now. I love their Pulled Pork and Fries, their Tacos are some of the best I have had and their Breakfast Burritos are the best in town. Old West is always spotless and staff is very friendly, you can tell it is family owned and operated.

I consider myself a bit of a BBQ snop. I grew up in TX eating misquite smoked BBQ. I stopped by here and tried their brisket sandwich. The meat was incredible, very tender, moist, and smoked to perfection. The price was very reasonable also. The fries were kinda soft though.

We have driven down multiple times over 45 min - no burritos. We have called - no call back. Hours posted on Google reflect 11:00. Wait till 11:00 to call - no burritos. Bad service. Dont plan on getting a burrito. Period. Very disappointing. This place used to rock!

This is the standard by which all BBQ places ought to be judged. Great brisket and pulled pork, sides are absolutely delicious. Loved the cole slaw, beans, mac and cheese is done right! Also the peach cobbler dessert is amazing. Will def. come back!

I was very dispappointed when I purchased the chicken barbq for dinner, and got maybe 5 ounces of meat to go along with my double order of green beans for $10. If youre shopping for value, this isnt it. $10 does not go very far at Old West barbq.

No way!! These reviews must be from employees. I gave them 2 chances months apart and they consistently let me down. Poor quality of meats and the staff seemed dirty. 2 important things in my book.

Stay away!!!!! Pretty sure the waitress was tweaking. First time there and lady said she rembered us from last time and then had a conversation with herself about it. It was wierd

From someone spoiled by and used to Kansas City BBQ, this place is legit. Friendly folks, good tender meat, good prices, and killer breakfast burritos. Highly recommend.
