My family and I stopped by for dinner after the Brighton Summerfest, and I was sincerely impressed with the food, the service, and the recently renovated interior. My wife had the tacos, I had the ribeye steak, and our son had the hamburger from the Kids Menu. I was pleasantly surprised at the selection, which offered each of us something we wanted in addition to the standard Mexican fare. However, I was unprepared for how good the steak would be! I am not a steak aficionado, but I am hard to please when it comes to a good steak, and I can honestly say Ive not had a better steak here in Brighton. The preparation was second only to the Chophouse in LoDo, in my opinion. Even my toddler couldnt get enough! (I think he ate about half of it!) We were there early for dinner, and were one of only two parties in the restaurant. The young lady who was our server was wonderfully pleasant, and the smile never left her face despite the mess our son joyfully made on the table with the potpourri (and then the salsa)! She was prompt, courteous, and professional -- and she never let me see the bottom of my glass, which is a quality I most admire in a server. It was easy to tell that renovations were very recent, and while it retained the quaint charm you would expect from a family-owned Mexican restaurant, the eating area and the bathroom were immaculately clean. Needless to say, we will be returning very soon, and I think Ive found my new favorite local restaurant! Once they have their liquor license so my wife can have a margarita, I think it will be her new favorite, too!

I would give no stars but its not an option: Not sure what the other reviews were talking about... No "Bueno" Service was okay, not great, not good but just okay. Salsa with chips tasted like a bad batch of enchilada sauce (over floured) tasted horrible even my kids didnt touch it. Menu options were very slim pickings (Burritos for kids were not on the menu?) I ordered Chicken Flautas, they were so thin and the chicken was not cleaned out i had veins in the meat, the guacamole that came with it was a liquid, I mentioned that to the server who stated they have one that is thicker I asked where i can find on the menu she searched (Couldnt find it, was not on the menu again) she didnt offer to bring that type out. Beans were over salted, rice was not bad. I think all these other reviews must be from family members and workers because it was very poor quality. I should have known when I walked in, when you see so many people with a burger and fries at a Mexican restaurant you should already know what your in for. Price for food was decently priced. I am so bummed about this experience we had hoped this was going to be a NEW spot. 2 Thumbs down.

This is a new restaurant and my friend and I stopped in fir breakfast on a Sunday morning. had a omelet and it was the best omelet I can ever remember having, and my friend had Huebos Rancheros that he would recommend. The pricing of the breakfast menu was very economicsl. Our waiter was very friendly, helpful and just a fantastic person. The restaurant itself was very clean, had a couple tvs turned on to the news, and it offers plenty of free parking. I also very much liked the restaurant because it was quiet. We had stopped to eat originally at the restaurant one block away called Main Street Cafe, but the noise level from people talking was so loud I felt I was in a bar type of setting so we walked out, and I am happy I did, as I never would have found the restaurant Los Arenales! I encourafe everyone to give it a try, you will be very happy you did!

We were looking for a new place to try for Sunday breakfast. This relatively new place had a couple good reviews so thought we would try it. Wow!! Greeted by a very pleasant and polite staff. We all had smothered breakfast burritos and what a surprise the homemade tortillas were. They were awesome. The chorizo in mine was excellent and I ordered it extra spicy and found it enjoyable all around. We also had an order of pancakes that we all split and they were very good as well. Looked at the lunch and dinner menu also and there is quite the selection. I almost felt like Id go back for dinner and check out that Juarez Burger, but it will have to wait. Maybe tomorrow....

Great service, good food, authentic feel, but the menu was a little weird. I dont know about you, but I dont go to a Mexican restaurant so I can order a Philly Cheesesteak or Buffalo wings. Haha. Having said that, I think that may have been their lunch menu because I asked if they had Huevos Rancheros and he said it was on their breakfast menu. He had them whip it up for me anyway. Salsa was not chunky, very watery, but good flavor. I like mine chunky, but it was still good. I have nothing bad to say about the service or the staff. I actually feel bad about criticizing their menu and salsa. I would go here again.

My wife and I stopped in to try Los Arenales out on our way home from errands. We werent disappointed. The food was delicious. The salsa was fresh and flavorful, the chili rellanos are to die for.. cant wait to get back and try some new menu items. Great to see a family owned restaurant keeping it homemade and delicious

Always good polite service, very reasonably priced. The food is tasty no matter what I have ordered. Usually not to busy only becuase it is hidden away and people dont know about it. So give it a try for a pleasant surprise.

I went on 4/9/17. This was some of the best breakfast food Ive had in a long time. This place definitely outshines Village Inn and Ihop The prices were great as well. 2 people had breakfast and coffees for $20. (without tip).

I dont know who gave this place a 4.7 out of 5 stars. Food was terrible, if your white this is the perfect "mexican" food. Go another block or 2 up the rd if you want good Mexican food.

Our waitress Brenda was very nice. Food was ok. We went on other recommendations. Chips were not warm (kinda old n stale). We had the chili relleno and it was ok at best.
