Despite my last visit, where I had forgotten my wallet and the manager was kind enough to trust me to pay my check after I went and retrieved it, I cannot give more than a 1 star review. When I arrived it appeared that the dinner rush has ended or was close to, and I waited to be sat. The server was prompt in getting my drink order and that was the last of the good service for the rest of my visit. The table in front of me needed syrup for their hotcakes and had to ask 3 times before it arrived. I personally waited for 7 mins for my drink to show up. When the server came to drop off my coffee, he took my order. I decided to keep it as simple as possible because he was looking overwhelmed with what few tables he had. After repeating my order the third time, he asked what kind of cheese I want on my omlet. I told him whatever cheese normally comes on it. My food arrives quickly, or most of it does, and I then see why. My eggs are runny and the hash browns are almost raw potatoes on a plate. He then tells me that my toast is in the toaster and will be right there. So I start in my omlet, eat what little of my browns that are med-rare and drink coffee. When I finish what is almost edible, weighing out what raw eggs are going to do to my stomach later, and push my plate away, he comes over and clears my table, then realizing that I never received any toast. So he quickly rushed to the back n bring out my toast. I figured that the toast would be at least edible, and once again I was tragically mistaken. The stale, cold bread that had been luke warm was what I was served. I managed to choke it down with several large swallows of coffee, deciding that I should at this point leave before anything else could go wrong. When I went to pay my check, the manager who until this point I hadnt seen at all how my meal was, and before I could respond she asked if I had gotten any pie. I told her that I hadnt been offered pie, and she asked if I would like to take a slice with me. I suddenly had an image of a half cooked crust with some kind of fruit filling staining the seat of my car and quickly declined the offer. I can only hope that this is an off night for the young gentleman who was my server, and his poor customer service skills are because he is fighting a cold ( I heard him telling the people behind me that he was sick but couldnt afford to take any more time off) and not his normal level of serving.

The Coprophages Delight! And a great diner for those whove damaged their sense of smell snorting broken glass, or cleaning their sinuses with sulfuric acid and steal wool (how did that ever get popular?). My most recent gastrointestinal misadventure involved ordering the aptly named Garden Veggie Omelet, which had an exciting and mysterious red fluid covering it which was the closest thing to a vegetable that I think they currently serve - a liquid vegetable in our technologically savvy 21st century! Too bad I didnt bring my flying car! :) Another thing that struck a personal note was the eggs themselves; they reminded me of the powdered eggs my grandfather described from his service in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater during the second World War. Veritably, I recreated a part of personal and national history at this quiet aromatic corner of Aurora! Or on second thought, it may have just been powdered Cheetos, pressed shipping peanuts, with splash of tears and a dash of broken, desperate love. Well regardless of what it was, or how long I have left to live, I can tell you I was sure I was in America while I was obediently forking it into my patriotic pie-hole. As an appropriate show of gratitude, I look forward to returning for my next experience naked, completely covered in peanut butter, and dusted to the gills on PCP! You gotta bring your A-game to a place like this. Things are only getting better for me - I can just feel it.

Avoid at this restaurant at all costs. I have been here are numerous times, Mostly because I live close to the restaurant, and have never had a good experience. It is ALWAYS dirty, the service is always poor, And the food is marginal at best. Today, after a very long absence, we decided to give it another try. We waited almost 2 hours and were told by the waitress that she had forgotten to put out worker in. The manager of shortest the food would come out and that we would be comped for it. Another 30 minutes went by and Nothing. Were left, and no one in the restaurant even care.

Really, when you let kids run your place of business you get terrible results. Village inns in arizona are great the ones here in Colorado are terrible. Took forever to get seated then i was seated on an extreamly wet bench with a equally wet table (same girl that seated us had just wiped down the table so she knew). Then it took 10 mins before we were offered drinks. We ordered at the same time we sat there an additional 20 min even after speaking with the mgr. And still no food. I would suggest not going here.

I went in for the first time in over 15 years. I had my 2 children with me. We had a fantastic dinner with numerous modifications , dinner came out perfect!! I was surprised to get free pie, as they have free pie every Wednesday 10 a.m.- 10 p.m.( I dont know about every location) We had a fantastic server Mitch. I had my kids in N.Y. and they loved hearing the accent, thanks again Mitch & Village Inn! We will definitely not wait so long before we return, Kimberly Kenneally

We enjoyed our server this morning and even with a change of a server we were notified right away and welcomed the new server w no complaints. All staff were bubbly and Were very professional. We injoy our meal and was checked on frequently. This location appears to be constantly on their toes and knows their role in customer service Im sure theyre making their changes and how to best serve their customers. but for me no complaints here

My husband and I went there just for a quick bite to eat and we decided to share an order of chili cheese fries. Our waitresses came back to our table and told us that someone there was a secret Santa who chose us and decided to pay for our whole meal.It was only $20 but who ever it was customer or staff I hope they know not only did they do a selfless act but they also made a couples week.
