Well well well... here we are again. Take a seat and listen to the story of my excursion to Waffle House. We walked into the Waffle House with high expectations, and walked out with little to no respect for the restaurant. We found a booth for the three of us to sit, and started to look at the menu. In the next 10-12 minutes our waitress came over to take our order. I ordered tha All star special with an extra Waffle , my friend ordered two waffles and hash browns and my brother ordered the Texas bacon egg and cheese melt. Our waitress soon scampered back to our table with our waters which had particles floating around in them. As far as I know, it was Ebola in a cup. The kitchen was nasty as I could clearly see. A steak on the grill was blue and there was food on the floor. One eternity later the server came to the table with two waffles along with a sandwich and one more Waffle. We began to eat thinking that the rest of our food would soon arrive. Oh boy was I wrong. Within 20 minutes I built up the confidence to ask where the other 3/4 of our food was. She said "oh you guys are the ones that ordered the all star." She brought me over my food but my brother was still short hash browns and I was missing my bacon. The bacon was clearly staring me in my eyeball sockets sitting next to the grill. Another 15 minutes passed and I asked for my bacon. The waitress dropped a few "F Bombs" and brought me my bacon which can hardly even be considered bacon. We almost had all of our food, but my brother was still deprived of his hash browns. He asked for them and they had not even began to cook them yet. The man and woman at the table behind us were demanding that they get their waffles as well and they walked out without paying. We eventually got the rest of the food and payed for our food. The price tag would have made you think we were livin large at a 5 star restaurant, but we were actually just at a dump that serves waffles.

The last 3 trips I made to the Waffle House in Castle Rock were less than satisfactory. I have eaten there for years, so the 1st two trips I thought were just anomalies, but todays experience topped it off. The coffee was old and had been sitting for quite awhile. Seems they use the new stuff first leaving a pot on top of the coffee maker kind of like "in reserve" for who knows how long. When I go to the bottom of my cup I noticed residue, presumably from the dish washer, not just a speck, but lots of it stuck to the sides of the cup. I asked the server for a refill, but she ignored me. Then when I caught her eye I held up my cup, smiled and pointed to it to get her the message. She rolled her eyes and came over. I pointed out the crap stuck to the side of the cup. She took the cup and wiped it out with the rag she had been using to clean tables, refilled it from the pot of stale coffee and set it on the table. Needless to say I didnt drink it and I wont be back.

we were HUN-GRY when we came in and satisfied when we left, the waitress was a delightful woman who took great care of us and even worked with the cook to see if we could get something that was not on the menu. MORE than enough food for the price, good coffee and a clean place! We shared Jesus with our server, and she cried for the joy. Merry Christmas to you all, God bless you everyone. Sharon and David

A great little piece of Americana so close to home. The food is exactly what you would expect for a traditional American diner. The atmosphere as well, its a nostalgic place complete with a jukebox which takes both cash and credit. The staff is super friendly and service is quick. If you have stepped back in to the golden age of diner America lately, should give this a go.

Visiting from New York, and Waffle House was a required stop (Waffle Houses everywhere Ive lived except Long Island)! Food was the usual...hearty, all-American comfort food. The scattered, covered, smothered, chunked, and diced hashbrowns didnt disappoint. It was FREEZING in the restaurant, though. Couldnt wait to get outside in the 65° weather to get warm!

Yea so we decided to give this Waffle House in Castle Rock, CO a second chance and they failed again. They need better training, a WAY BETTER ATTITUDE and probably just new people working here period. Food was cold by the time it was given to us. I get it can be a fast paced place but Ive had excellent service at a different location.

By far the worst experience I have ever had. I came to place an order to-go and they just looked right past me. Then I came up to order and stated that I wanted to place an order to go then they all stated "oh Im off!" Are you freaking kidding me!!! Not to mention they made me pay a 10% gratuity for this bullshit service!

My mom found a finger nail clipping on her place mat, that was just the beginning. The counter obviously wasnt wiped down and there was a spider under the counter. Then the food was absolutely awful. Do not ever eat here. Im on my way to IHOP because the food wasnt even edible and Im hungry

Very dirty floors and tables. Had to ask for our table to be cleaned again because of syrup and hard substance stuck to table. Slow service. Employees talking about who just quit at Waffle House and why they werent surprised. Good food with decent portions. Will not go here again.

One of the better waffle houses out of the many Ive ate at. Food quality and quantity were good for the price. Friendly workers as well. However, they didnt offer a military discount which is why they didnt receive 5 stars.

If youre in the mood for a real greasy spoon diner with real health code violations this is the place for you. It is not like the Waffle House on the East Coast at all its just a nasty diner with the Waffle House name.
