I just ate at Strings in Yuba City for my first (and last) time. They had about 6 tables to serve when we got there. It took a few minutes to be seated. It then took another 10 minutes to get our drinks & take our order. We both ordered the all you can eat pasta & bread & soup/salad.That took about 20 minutes to serve, I thought it should be faster because they were not that busy. The soup was cool/warm & very mushy like it was previously frozen or just cooked for 24 hours, pure mush. The pasta was just ok, the salad was good. We then asked for a pasta & bread refill. It took around 10 min for the second small plate of pasta to arrive . The bread never came, we asked again & she never brought us any more. My second plate of pasta was gone & I wanted more but they never came back around & IGNORED us for 20 minutes, I could see them every few minutes peak around the corner at our table, they did this several times. I made it clear I was waiting for service pushing all plates away from in front of me. My glass of water was empty most of my dinner, they wouldnt refill that either. I didnt feel like waiting 20 min or more for service & another plate so we just left. Our servers name was Jeanette. Either she is just a poor server or they are directed to do this by the manager for the all you can eat pasta. Either way just very poor service................................... UPDATE.... Later that same night everyone who ate at our table became very sick & had very bad cramping. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! Beware!!!!!

The servers and service were great. The pasta was under cooked and the salad was a bit wilted but tasted fine. The braised beef was fantastic albeit a small portion for the price. Was a bit surprised. I had thought that an Italian restaurant that emphasized wine everywhere you look would have a better selection of wine. I would try it again but I would not rush to do so. All in all would have been better off driving to Roseville to hit olive garden.

Excellent stuffed mushrooms, the seafood bisque is perfect, pizza is covered in toppings and the pizza sauce is just right, also been here for all you can eat pasta, several sauce choices and the bread is delicious, they keep it coming until you cant eat another bite, owner is super friendly and the staff has continued to wait on us even after closing time

Second time Ive gone to this place and ordered the same thing I always order. Spaghetti with meat sauce and one meatball, chicken Alfredo with shrimp and veggies added. No chicken in my chicken alfredo. Paid full price, twice. Yeah, never going there again.

Good food but not worth it, kinda hard to enjoy it when cryin babies are seated next to you, and the parents let their kids play with the silverware guests are gonna use!

Food took more than an hour to be served. Waitress gave us a discount but it only took off three dollars after taxes. Would not recommend to anyone.
