A friend and I met in Seattle for a cruise that was departing the next day. We asked the hotel staff for recommendations on restaurants and Tulios came up multiple times. It was within walking distance so we decided to stop by. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted. They were booked solid but offered to seat us at the bar or at a small Bistro table near the entry. The atmosphere was relaxing. The restaurant seems to attract an older crowd. Most of the folks dining that evening were friendly and happy. Although I did not see a cellphone policy, not a single cellphone rang during our time at the restaurant. The Menu does not offer a wide selection of items but dont let that turn you away. I ordered RISOTTO chanterelle mushrooms, chanterelle cream, buttered leeks. This was my first taste of Chanterelle Mushrooms and the dish was perfect. My friend ordered their RIBEYE with fingerling potatoes with chanterelle salt, roasted mushrooms, onions, and parsley. She ate every morsel and declared that it was the best meal from recent memory. Tulios exceeded our expectations and it was one of the best dining experiences we found in Seattle.

Exceptional service, superb food and wonderful ambiance. My husband has raved about Tulios for years and makes sure he goes every time he travels to Seattle. This time I had the opportunity to understand why. From the moment we stepped through the door, this well managed facility attempted to meet our every need or desire. Roberto, the maitre d, called eight different locations to find a place where I could find Mahi served for lunch the next day. Our server was super attentive all the while providing a private dining experience. The food was divine! We started with a mushroom Risotto which was creamy and flavorful. The halibut, which was the fish special was cooked to perfection and placed on a wonderful mix of couscous with mint, grapes, pine nuts and greens. The desert, which we shared, was a pistachio semi-freddo. David the manager recommended a delightful desert wine, Maculan dindarello moscato giallo del vento 2011, which accented the selection perfectly. Over all, the experience was the best I have had in years. No wonder this is my husbands favorite Seattle establishment! We will return. V

I chanced upon this excellent Italian place during a recent stay in the Seattle area. Located on the Hotel Vintage Park on Fifth avenue, this is truly a gem among restaurants. The semolina pan seared scallops with almonds are to die for, and their pasta dishes are flavorful and filling, but not too dense. Probably the best thing that I have had here is the Pork shank. The meat literally falls off the bone and the flavor is amazing. Prices here are very reasonable for the quality (and quantity) of food, and their specialty is an inventive gelato of the day. The wait staff is very friendly and very quick and attentive. They know the dishes and always have great recommendations and comments. I was fortunate enough to sit at the kitchen seats overlooking the stoves in the back and to interact with the chef and cooks on duty. They were always friendly and happy to explain the dishes and to make recommendations. They are definitely artists at creating a wonderful meal! This place should not be overlooked in Seattle. Simply first rate!

After tiring from hearing from everyone about the Sweet Potato Gnocchi here (something I had never tried, anywhere), I caved in on my last night staying at the Hotel Vintage and came down here for dinner. The restaurant was full to the brim - a good sign for a Thursday night - but the staff still managed to accommodate me relatively quickly with no fuss. I am happy to report that the Gnocchi is one of the most amazing I have tasted, and well worth a visit on its own. I rarely choose from the evening specials as those meals are usually hastily crafted by the chef from left-overs, but I changed my mind when told about their Sturgeon, which in my opinion should be a regular on their menu. All in all: a lovely meal, amazing and friendly staff, although I was a bit put off by the somewhat old-fashioned "stuffiness" within the presentation of both the food and the restaurant itself. Nevertheless I would be very happy to return, if only to try that amazing Sweet Potato Gnocchi again.

Tulio is top notch! I dined here last night after a short walk up from Pikes Place Market and couldnt have been more impressed with what I found after entering the restaurant. There was a nice outdoor seating area that would have been perfect to sit in considering the beautiful weather in Seattle, but I made my way inside to the bar. I was greeted with a glass of water and a cocktail menu from one of the liveliest bartenders Ive come across. The cocktail list is just as amazing as the food! The veal with ricotta gnocci was so amazingly good, perfect flavor and great presentation. I cant wait to stop by Tulio the next time Im in Seattle. As a first time visitor to Seattle, I rank Tulio among the top attractions that you just have to visit.

What a lovely experience. Brought my girlfriend here for a holiday dinner last weekend and we both have been grinning in reflection or our time at Bella Oratorio. The customer service was top notch, I believe our waiters name was Eric or Erin - he was informative, kind, and with a few mentions of what we were shooting for he tailored an order that became truly unforgettable. I went with the carbonation, my girlfriend the gnocchi. Paired with the suggested Cabernet and we are still salivating at the thought! The service was above and beyond and the amazing food just really ended our weekend on a high note. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to see what San Franciscos dining has to showcase.

My boyfriend and I were celebrating our third year anniversary in the Seattle area. Not only was the food, wine, and atmosphere amazing, James, our waiter, was incredibly personable and went above and beyond to make the entire night more romantic than either of us could have possibly imagined. Everything to the T was absolutely perfect, I dont think that Ive smiled that much in weeks. David, the manager, and his restaurant staff not only care about the service they provide, but its customers, as well. Well certainly be returning as soon as possible and recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect place to spend with friends and family over a happy glass of wine.

we were staying nearby and had just had a very bad dinner at Poppy and were hoping for something simple and were VERY pleased by the welcome, the ambience, the good spirits of the oher diners, by the very professional waiter and most of all by the food! the clams (local ones) and linguini were just terrific. good choices for witn by the glass. home made honey-gelato was lovely. price was not very high. we were soooooo happy at finding a good local place that wasnt gimmicky but just did what you want an Italian restaurant to do. We will return when we are next in Seattle.

Outstanding! I coordinated a recent trip for a group of executives for a two day meeting event in Seattle. Their dinner on Thursday was at Tulios. Everyone has raved about how delicious the food was and how beautiful the restaurant is. They were able to all sit in a private area and were totally pleased with the service and ambiance. As the planner, I really liked being able to make a reservation by actually just making a phone call and not having to go through an online reservation program. I have to say that as soon as I can get to Seattle myself - Im going to Tulios!!
