Had dinner with family at Corkwood Restaurant on Saturday. As I bit into the salad I pulled a hard piece of plastic that would be used to seal something in plastic (like a bread loaf). I am glad that I did not break a tooth. When I told the waitress about this she said to give it to her and she would bring it to the attention of what I would assume the person who prepared the salad. Disappointed with her response and have kept the piece of plastic. Be careful what you chew there...

Have eaten here twice in the past 2 weeks and am satisfied with the service and food prep except the scrambled eggs were not real eggs.(that is why a 4 star and not a 5 star) When we were bowling, they had a shrimp fried rice that was delicious; however, the waitress told us they only serve plain fried rice now at the new location. I wish they had at least a chicken fried rice.

The daily special breakfast is always great. A generous portion of fried rice with two eggs and your choice of meat on top. I recommend the ham. Service can be lacking at times but the staff is very friendly and the owner (Charlie) is likely to chat with customers. Nice local diner.

Usually I would give it higher but our server on the 2 Sundays we went was not very good. She was nice but that is not important but service is. My food was a 4 on the first visit but a 2 or 3 the 2nd. She did not put order in right.

Food was below expectations. Lights in both male and female Bathrooms dont work. They propped the door open and had a candle.
