The food was OK and service was subpar, but this very well could be due to the following reasons. The place was busy due to the afternoon rush, but it appeared that only one of the servers seemed to understand this. While our server(Candice), who was excellent, was busy taking care of all the tables, the other two servers were busy off in the corner or up front playing games and on their phones. This was brought to the managements attention, who didnt act the least bit concerned after I showed him proof, because other customers had complained as well. We did not stay to see how the manager handled everything, but my cudos and 3 stars go out to our server who didnt stop.

Horrible food and service. Eggs had hair in it. Chicken fingers were delivered late because they didnt realize the burner wasnt on?!?! When delivered they were unseasoned and extremely dry. After waiting 5+ minutes for refills on our coffee and a lemonade which we had placed at the end of the table to show they needed refills, we set a timer to see how long it would take the waiters to notice. Another 4 minutes passed before they did. And it was only because they were delivering our check. The only edible items we received were our toast and coffee. Our son wouldnt even eat the pancakes because of how bad they sucked. Keep driving until you reach somewhere else to eat.

Ordered 2 short stack pancakes which were listed for$ 5.00 something and one egg on the side, which the waitress said was $1:00 something. I was charged 8.90 the price of a short stack combo. While paying I asked what came on the ss combo, the lady either didnt hear me or misunderstood and pointed to the combos listed on the area behind her. I figured Id just pay and get on with my day:/. In addition we were served biscuits that were cold and had something speed over the top that was supposed to be butter but tasted like congealed grease):

Oh maaaaaaaaaaan, Country Waffles and those omelettes. Scrambles, breakfast combos, and yes, even waffles! I know it sounds cooky, but the Chile Verde Omelette is super delicious. I dont know if they make their chile verde in house or if its boxed or what, but it goes mighty good with a cup of coffee and some fried up chicken babies. Country Waffles always has good service, and most of the time you can find someone friendly to talk to if youre having a b-fast by yourself!

friendly service. I had the eggs benedict. Delicious. I also had a side of biscuits and gravy. Not so good. I mean it was edilble but very bland. I added lots of pepper and a little salt but i think they used premade frozen biscuits because of the texture. Maybe a better country gravy recipe would help. Some kind of meat in the gravy. Not sausage. Very nice little place. I will come back but for sure i will not have the bisc n gravy.

Excellent food with LARGE portions. The staff is also very attentive and is a pleasure to talk to. Family run, family feeling breakfast & lunch diner. Right off the freeway. They also offer free coffee on weekend mornings when there is a short wait to get seated. However food comes out very fast from the kitchen even on busy days. I love eating here.

who doesnt love waffle? Country waffle offers one of the best waffles in town. Their strawberry waffle is my favorite. Fresh and delicious. They are really busy weekend mornings and it is a little hard to find a parking spot. Food is very fresh and service is very quick and friendly even during the busy hours. Really recommend this place! A+

Its a cute country breakfast spot that serves diner food. They have a good eggs benedict for eight bucks, but I really liked their basic waffle breakfast with eggs and bacon. Our server was friendly and everything went OK here. Ill be swinging by here again for sure.

Horrible experience and I havent even been sat yet. Very disrespectful and was ignored and dismissed for 15 minutes trying to get a simple answer if they offer a military discount for combat veterans.. Which they very rudely replied with no!!!!???

A touch of country cooking in Northern California. I got a side order of country sausage gravy for hash browns. The sausage links and hash brown planks arent remarkable, but the place has a pleasant homey feel about it, and very pleasant staff.

I know this is a waffle place, but their pancakes are awesome. Try them, youll see. Also try the garden omelette, and ask them to add salsa and avocado. Everyone that works here is wonderful -- all of them, really. I love this place.

OK, but not as good as the Country Waffles in south Livermore. Pancakes are not as fluffy and bacon thinner and fattier. Eggs were a bit overcooked. Not bad, but suffers in comparison. Small parking lot can be a problem, too.

This is our second visit here and it likely wont be our last. The food is good+ (not amazing). The service is always great. We have always ended up with more food than one human should eat for breakfast.

this place was delicious! the waffle was on point, country potatoes are a must order and the pork chops for breakfast was very good too! a bit slow on service but the food greatly makes up for it!

Mixed feelings. Chile Verde omelet is fantastic but no corn tortillas. Bacon is awful. Skip it. Biscut and gravy is also good. They do somethings very well and are a colossal failure on others.

The Country Waffles on Holmes and Concannon is far better than the one on Vasco. The one on Vasco uses cheaper ingredients and is nowhere near as good. Im sure they thought no one would notice.

Its your typical breakfast coffee shop, nothing amazing but not terrible either. If you want some waffles and average breakfast food, its a comfy old school spot with booths and decent coffee.

I like to have breakfast. I have to say this is one of the worst breakfast experiences I have had. Not quality food, not prepared well, not presented well. Avoid this dump!

Better service at the booth then from the kitchen its not the waiter/waitress fault if the kitchen forgets an idem on a ticket and we eat while my husband waits...
