I didnt expect to want a traditional pastry dessert after a light sushi meal, but the "strawberry rhubarb shortcake" was another breath of fresh air after an already refreshing meal. Enough sweetness to balance the rhubarb bite, and thats all...with whipped creme fraiche and an abstracted scoop of ice cream, the dish borders on molecular-gastro fare in all the right ways. Also the chocolate lava cake is dialed in!

A new but memorable, high-end, special-occasion place wth dazzling interior and showy teppanyaki performances in a special glassed-in room by dedicated chefs. A charming, professional, thoughtful staff from the minute you walk in the door till you depart. Effort goes into daily lunches specials. A sushi bar with the fish that put Sushi Roku on the map, plus a private dining room and a bar completes the complex.

This experience was absolutely fantastic, the food was unbelieveably good mouth watering, with a powerful flavor that you can never forget. The service was precise and on point. I recommend anyone thats in the la area to try this place. Thanks for an amazing experience.
