Was greeted by Adam, an extremely friendly and outgoing person who gave us menus, told us the ins and outs, etc. The line was long due to popularity but moved pretty quickly, although it was out the door we probably only waited 6 or 7 minutes. I was there with two others, we each ordered a pizza. We were informed shortly after ordering and paying that two of the pizzas were going to need to be remade due to holes in the pizza. I explained that it didnt bother me and would rather it not go to waste, I was reassured someone would eat it. They were extremely apologetic and seemed more stressed and concerned about it than we were, we only had to wait a minute or two extra, we were approached by at least 3 people making sure that we were satisfied with them fixing the order how they did. The pizza itself is great, the tomato sauce they use is very fresh tasting, and it seems as if they use a real good quality brand of tomato as it wasnt necessary to mask their flavor with tons of spices and garlic. The crust and toppings were also excellent. We were approached by two people who I assume were managers, both of whom were extremely apologetic and willing to give us free food or comp it or what have you. Instead of taking advantage with a big desert thing like they offered I settled on two bowls of gelato for my friend and fiancee. One thing that stood out in particular was how friendly yet efficient everyone seemed to be. The two management type guys (Id guess GM and Front of House) were both making food, busing tables and picking up empty glasses, it was very cool to see them hustle as it was clear they were used to rolling up their sleeves a bit to make things happen when slammed. I only wish there was one in Orange County so that I can visit more often, this place really is very good.

Ever since my wife and I have discovered this popular Sherman oaks pizza joint we love coming here for a pie and one of there amazing natuela berry colzones! The ambient is fantastic! I mean the owners dropped a fortune on decorating. The service is amazing. You can all ways count on the head chef and managers to walk around and personally great you or shake your hand. They occasionally let you know how much your business means to them by treating you to a dish on the house or a desert . Trust me there is so many great things to write about midici I dont even know where to start? This place is great ! If its to chill out and enjoy the ambient with a glass of wine and a meat and cheese plate or to share a pizza and salad this place has it all! Even their coffee is over the edge! Trust me give midici a try! For the price and causal comfort this place has it all and you will think for a second your at cafe Del Mar in Ibiza....

Its a lovely restaurant, very nice atmosphere, great staff. I got a breakfast pizza for dinner - it was good, but..... Im not a fan of burnt crust and the ovens are 1,000 degrees and they cook the pizza in 90 seconds, which is awesome to crank out a bunch of pizzas really fast, but...... it burns the crust. I had bacon on my pizza and it didnt seem quite cook enough. Maybe they need to lower that temperature and cook the pizza another 30 seconds - bake it some way so the crust is beautiful golden brown - since the ingredients are wonderful and fresh if baked to perfection it would be a great place to become a loyal customer - just suggesting. I got a glass of wine - but it looked only a 1/4 filled - just saying. Its loud, and at night the lighting is very dim around the ordering station. One of the best things is the Nutella Fresh Fruit Calzone. Bon Apetit!

Ive been coming to this place for over 2 years since before it got "popular" and the service use to be great. This is the first time I ordered 2 salads a classic ceasar and a walnut and gargenzola. The ceasar came with no croutons and just lettuce on the plate. The other salad didnt have gargenzola and the freaking bread that it comes with. The server even apologized and said oh the bread isnt done yet... so why did you serve us an unfinished dish?????? We then asked 3 times for the bread and the croutons. They never came. Absolutely the worst service in 2 years! The service is as bad as the dead Olive tree they have inside. I am Italian and one thing you do well is serve good food. They cant even do that! Lost a long time customer

Ive had Midici pizza before and thought it was disgusting. And thought why is this considered pizza, but I flew in all the way from home to the city it was made in. And decided to give it one more try, and I kid you not. My taste buds towards deep dish pizza are restored. And Pequods is the reason why. You know when you see pizza in a commercial and it comes out oozing with cheeses and meats, well this place the exact thing you are looking for. Pizza was outstanding. Flavorful. Just the right amount of cheese and ingredients. Crust was crunchy and cooked just right. If you have to try midici pizza anywhere. Look no further to Pequods. You wont be disappointed.

Its not often that a place goes way beyond what is expected in servicing its customers. My daughter is gluten and dairy free but the pizza we ordered came back with real cheese (1 of 4 pizzas). No problem, I said. The place is only 5 min away. When I arrived, not only had they replaced the pizza but also included a special desert item AND comped the meal! They also included a hand written note saying sorry for the mix up. Talk about over and above! Places like this with good pizza and great atmosphere sometimes forget the little things like service but not this place! Were spreading the word. Signed, Customer for Life

Midici hit it out of the box with the restaurant, Finally a combination of a family style Italian combined with the efficiency of fast casual. The quality of the natural ingredients and wood fire crust are so far above the standard fare of the new breed of rapid fire pizza restaurants. In addition the customer service is outstanding. We had a situation where one of our pizzas was delivered to the table 7 minutes after the others and as a thank you for waiting the manager delivered two decadent chocolate and fruit filled pizzas.

My friend and I called in our order for pick up. We ordered the deep dish pizza and it was amazing. The pizza was hot and fresh when we got it home. I could eat this every night and be happy. (If I didnt end up weighing 500 pounds that is) Quality is excellent and you get good portions for what you pay for. The pizza took a reasonable amount of time and when we walked over it was easy to pay for and pick up. This is a great option for grabbing pizza to eat at home. I would love to dine in next time though to see that that is like as well.
