I like to think of myself as a connoisseur of breakfast burritos, or at least of those within Southern California. The breakfast burritos here are rank among the best I have ever had. Different people have different ideas of what the perfect burrito is, but for me balance is the key. Their burritos start with a nicely toasted but not stiff tortilla which encapsulates a fragrant mix of shredded hash browns, a nicely cooked scrambled egg, bacon and sausage (if you decide to get both) just a hint of cheese (I think, I couldnt actually tell) and a wonderfully refreshing pico de gallo. The acid and slight spice of the pico de gallo cuts the richness of the bacon and sausage and the hash brown soak up all the extra goodness. Their burritos are made with care (at least thats what Im deducing from the even distribution of ingredients) ensuring that each bite contains a bit of breakfast meat, potato, eggs, and that awesome pico. Now that youve read this review, your expectations are probably sky high for this breakfast burrito. Quite frankly go in with an open mind and you might be pleasantly surprised like I was. Five stars.

been coming to this Family owned restaurant in Thousand Oaks, CA for years. Great breakfast, for sure, but this popular local hang out offers much more than bacon and eggs folks. BLT? Got it, Burgers? Great! Gyros? Yeppers. Chicken sandwich, burritos, dogs, fries, salads, etc. The menu is varied and tasty. They run daily specials for breakfast and lunch every day. I LOVE the fries here, they are done just right, steak fries a little crisp on the outside and tender and hot on the inside. Try them, you will not be disappointed.

They mess with you food there. Ever felt sick after leaving P and L? I have been going there for 20+ years, since I was a kid. When the boss isnt there..( this sweet Greek Woman) the workers act like children giving customer funny looks. Which is acceptable but the food that comes out of that kitchen is not, and should be tested for bodily fluids. Disgusting!! Really unfortunate for such a great place to be disgraced...

Love it! Yeah not much ambience but this is the closest thing we have to a down home neighborhood coffee shop and community center. And no matter how busy it is - I dont think youll get faster service even if you go to fast food. I like: breakfast burritos, BLT, pancakes, steak sandwich. I stay away from their coffee though... Just bring your own.

Ive been coming to PnL for years and the food has always been the same.....EXCELLANT, UNIQUE, and ADDICTING form the first time you taste it. I recommend the Pastrami Breakfast Burrito for your lunch, along with some Onion Rings. And say hello top Kiki (co-owner), she is always good for a friendly chat.

These guys have been around forever so they are doing something right. Good range of diner foods, from sandwiches to burgers to breakfast Faire. They serve Gyros as well. If you want that homemade or taste you can only get from a well used griddle, go here. Their zucchini fries are excellent.

I love this place. Ive been going here ever since it opened. The pastrami sandwich is the best. Love the breakfasts. Cook to your order. Excellent place. Steaks are good , ask for grilled onions or add avacado on the side to your breakfast meal, oh so good.

I have loved this place for 24 years now and even after my family and I moved out of Thousand oaks many years ago, we still make the drive just to get a burger with fries and the best onion rings EVER.. MY MOUTH IS EVEN WATERING JUST THINKING OF IT

Based on you recommendation for the avocado burger I went today to get one, should have realized based on how fast I got my order something was very wrong. The burger meat was cold, having it to go left me with no choice. Wont go back there again.
