Food is great, but extremely poor customer service. Ordered the veggie omelette with ONLY bell peppers, cilantro and tomatoes. I must of repeated it 2 times. She comes back and asks if I want cheese, Im like no thank you JUST bell pepper, cilantro and tomatoes. Our order took approximately 20 min. It wasnt busy. Came back with, bell peppers, cilantro and onions... I couldnt see the tomatoes so I asked, she says its onions. I said, I never requested onions. She looks at her notepad(which she wrote my order while I was saying tomatoes, mind you) and then she utters oops I wrote onions. At this point Im already 2 cups of coffee in and almost full. So I say, ok again, its bell peppers, cilantro and tomatoes. Did you get it? She says yes and I say, you will ask the cooks to prepare right now, since weve waited 20min for this? She says yes, still looking completely clueless. So I can see that the manager(tall hispanic male) is talking to her, Im thinking he has to get involved since now food is being returned. She finished discussing whatever, and walks away with an expression of she had made an error and now its out. So once the food is out after about 10min or a bit over, the manager sends another waitress to deliver my food and then he walks over to us(Im thinking hes going to apologize and make things better), Nope... He brings me a set of eating utensils, and walks away. Huh?? You would think hed offer to correct the mistake by offering at least my plate on the house, since all that ridiculousness... He did not and that was that. This place is a gold mine and is ALWAYS flowing with patrons. Really amazes me how these so-called managers or head supervisors arent properly trained to provide the BEST customer service and take care of their clientele. No wonder some of their waitresses arent either. What disappointment.. 1 star for this happening 3 times with thispast Sunday.

Used to be okay- sometimes. Expecting something better? So sorry! Noisy & AWFUL service, the wait staff can make you get your own stuff. Bad attitude=BAD FOOD with MISTAKES too! And not nearly enough. Instead of correcting an order, they will make it worse! It was someones B-Day and they refused to offer anything or wish a Happy One. If you are a couple of mixed race (who made a huge MISTAKE coming in this Norms), watch out! First the senior cashier was MEAN. Then the cruel, spiteful Manager SLANDERED -accused this couple of scam even after she agreed to replace their meals on the phone because their previous to go order was WRONG and a complete mess! The careless Asian waitress per mangers direction was very RUDE- HARASSED and HUMILIATED the tearful girl. While she was waiting for her boyfriend walking back toward her, the waitress rudely interrupted the conversation she was having with a senior couple and even refused the poor girl water, got PHYSICAL, bumped her left arms with hers and grabbed the frail gals drink right out of her hand in front of them and her boyfriend, she said cruel things to her by FORCING the girl to leave. While they were leaving, saw the big tall guy almost attack her and threatened the sad, distraught couple till they started to call the COPS while the staff did nothing. Wow!! This is NOT the same good service we have experienced at other Good Norms in LA area. What a shame with this establishment! Must be the BAD management. Help? Here nobody will so highly suggest to STAY AWAY from this one... Especially in this economy, think youre better off eating a TV dinner, burrito or something from 7-11 and possibly safer swimming with the "sharks".

after years of coming here and recieving above par service by the staff, today was the first day i have recieved the worse experience by norms... my gf and i came for lunch and was served by the mid aged oriental woman, i cannot stress it enough, she is the worse... once we sat down, she asked us for drinks and then walked away without taking our orders for drinks, so we waited for 10 mins until another server was kind enough pay us attention and get our drinks for us... then the oriental lady comes back to take our order and take our order then suddenly leaves without us completing our order, i had to wave at her to let her know that we havent ordered everything we wanted, also no once did she come to refill our drinks without me having to wave her down, nor did she have the courtesy to check on us, never had a smile on her face, always looked angry... then when she finally came with an order, she decides to bring me my order with a side i never asked for, nor did she offer the options when we ordered, and whats worse, she came with my order without my gfs order at the same time, so my gf and i had to wait for her order for us to start eating... then i asked for an extra side of mashed potatoes, and she has the nerve to tell me, "thats too much food", which i found extremely rude... so basically, today ruined norms for me, this doesnt reflect amongst the rest of the staff, im local, so im familiar with the rest of the staff and theyre more hospitable...next time i go back, so if u guys decide to come to norms, aimply request to be served by any other server than the mid aged asian lady, shes horrible... no way at all did she deserve a tip, so we didnt

Ive was invited for breakfast here 4 times and for each time I had different experience that were not the best. I dont like to make a big thing over any mistakes or having to wait for a table but I can I only tolerate so much. The staff have great customer service my issue was always something wrong with my order. Once they took are order, it literati it took so long to get are food served than what it took to get are table. After waiting for more than 30 minutes for are food, it was finally brought to are table. To top it off the food was completely cold and the worst part was that they gave me the wrong order. Couldnt believe the day I was having, which by the way I didnt make a big thing about it and was really patient the entire time. The funny thing of all this, was actually seeing my boyfriend be the one to actually loose his patients and surprised to see me not upset at all.

Worse service i had in here for the first time i order bake potato got smashd order a gumbo soup got nothing but liquid nothing in it but water askd for crackers for the letice got them when i done askd for napkins got them a year later worse service i had here askd for well done got a pieried on a plate bloody must be the favortisem the waitress had with her family they got exelent service i askd fir reefill she forgot but her friends or mavy family becouse she shure had a great conbetsation with onother table but my table bad waitress name jenny the one that works to jook up her friends and not costemers i returnd my food back and went to mc donalds big mack fries and soda exelent service..

Great service from Our waitress Donna. Wife order cheeseburger with thousand island dressing and fries. She said it was one of the best burgers she has ever ordered. Patty was handmade and not frozen. Condiments included lettuce, Pickles, tomatoes, and onions. I ordered the bigger better breakfast, with scrambled eggs. Included 2 pieces of bacon and sausage, slice of ham, hash browns and two pancakes. Both plates were generous portions. All our Food was delivered to the table hot. I also ordered a bowl of lentil soup for an additional $1.49. The soup was delicious and included vegetables.
