This unassuming spot is set in a 1950s diner theme with Gatsby inspired etched glass dividers and lamps. The swivel chairs at the counter are inviting and the booths are comfy. I ordered the Mediterranean omelette and every item arrived just as I ordered it in minutes! The quality was perfect. But best if all were all the smiling faces. The staff welcomed each patron as though we walked into their home. And from the response from the diners I can see they appreciate it and come back often. If not for having my car in service at Galpin Ford, i would have never had this opportunity. So glad for it and I will plan to service my car around meals from now on. Thank you!

The horseless carriage restaurant is an awesome place. Their staff is wonderful and their food is pretty good, nothing special. I like their hamburger and their BLT. It seems like a locals place with not a lot of outsiders knowing that it even exists. It is attached the Galpin car dealership which is rife with cool cars. It would be a great stop if you are getting your car serviced or in the area. Overall, this place combines my love of cars with good food. It hankers back to an era in which four wheels meant freedom instead of meaning sitting in Soul Crushing traffic. It is a classic american diner. They have a parking lot.

Dressed up diner food that they charge a premium for. 14.00 for 9.00 meal seems standard. Theyd be pretentious if they had attitude but their saving grace is their friendly attentive staff. Without good service, this place couldnt begin to justify its pricing structure - just like any car dealership as Galpin well knows! Unless your getting a discount for working at Galpin, give it a pass except on the occasional 2hr car service for an oil change. Designed to expropriate cash from your front right pocket. Buyers remorse applies to food too but they dont rush you as you wait for your car.

A restaurant at a car dealership? Yes. And its waaaay better than youd expect. Its just a diner, for sure -- nothing fancy -- but everything was noticeably fresh, the place is really clean with a vintage art-deco style, and has *great* service. Stopped in during an oil change, and had one of the best veggie omlettes in LA -- fresh julienne veggies, big portion, nice plate presentation. Id come back even if my car wasnt being serviced.

A very good, though tiny diner at Galpin in North Hills. My biggest complaint was the small size and lack of parking. The food though was very good diner food and the service was great. I had a very good Galpinburger with fries, which was a good 1/2 pound burger. My wife had an eggs benedict with crab cakes, which was delicious. A very decent menu, good service and good diner food.

Wouldnt guess that a diner is located in a dealership but its a great idea! Waitresses were friendly and attentive. Portions were larger than we could finish. The place was visited by regulars and you can tell that the staff enjoy their job. Old diner feel and well cared for. Clean and bright atmosphere. Definitely will stop again when in the area!

For the price, its one of the best deals for a steak dinner. The prime rib was juicy with seared ends...cooked to perfection. A choice of soup or salad, potatoes, and a dessert (get the coconut cream pie) all for under $20. The atmosphere was classic LA coffee shop/diner. Highly recommended!

This is a gem of a diner, that has been a staple in our family for over 15 years. It is great for comfort food and the the the chefs prepare quality food. If you stand up this is for us have been the steak and eggs, the Greek omelette, and the prime rib.

Really cool dining area in the boulevard of cars. A bit expensive and lackluster, but the points go out to the vintage lookingness of the place. Their pastrami was cold, and their fries didnt taste fresh.
