Ordered takeout on Christmas day. #1-They were open, and #2-Very friendly, #3-Reasonably priced, and #4-great selection. My husband and i had been looking for a new Chinese food place,and decided to try Root. We ordered: Pot stickers Egg Rolls Hot & sour soup BBQ pork fried rice Sesame beef Curry chicken Steamed rice Our order was ready really fast! (Within 30 minutes). Everything was delicious! Especially the sesame beef! We ordered takeout, but they usually have delivery (which Im sure well be taking advantage of in the future!) If you are looking for deliciously satisfying Chinese food, look no further! Yum!

Welp this place is under a new name and new owners. After adjustments they raised the prices up about $2 dollars per dish. Now its a bit expensive for inexpensive chinese food that they dont over stuff or do particular well. I would have even gone up to 3 stars but now with the price increase its not even worth paying for. Time to throw away the menu. Shame.

这必须是五颗星！好吃，井冈山笋烧肉，红烧全鱼特别推荐，大豆苗也炒的好。价格也实在！现在没有很出名，不用排队。边上也有车位。

Good Mandarin specialties. Tables available for large groups. Funny, this is one of the few restaurants with an older order taker who will tell you youve ordered enough or too much, even if youre really hungry for more.

This place is wonderful. Very few white people, spicy and delicious. Their spicy wontons are really good, as is the spicy tendon. We usually get one of the 2 then a couple random things. Hard to go wrong.

I swung by after work for a quick dinner and ordered the cumin lamb. The dish was delicious with my kind of spicy kick. Service was fast. One star less because I paid for white rice $1.25!

The restaurant is good, but our rental car back window got smashed when having dinner with friend. Do remember take out your valuable belongings from the car!
