I just tried this place for the first time and was hesitant because I could find no menu or website. I called and improvised an order for take-out and they knew who I was before I had the chance to tell them. It was close to closing and they offered me a big awesome cup of tea while I waited, brought me a take-out menu without me asking (they remembered I couldnt find one online), wrote their menu changes on there for me, and then gave me some really killer Chinese food. We had crispy sesame beef, chicken chow mein, and pork egg rolls. The egg rolls tasted markedly better than the egg rolls that Chinese restaurants usually have; they tasted almost like lumpia and tasted fresh. Everything was fantastic and the service was second to none. Definitely found my go-to Chinese joint! Edit 4/14/15 forgot about this place and came back... Not as pleasant. Egg flower seemed about a week old and wasnt the hottest. Ordered crispy sesame need and it was... Okay. Oil may need to be change or something. Good service just not as tasty as last time

I have lived by this place and drove past it for over two years now. My roommate finally convinced me to go in yesterday and I am sold on the place. From its outer appearance it looks like a mediocre teriyaki joint. The seating feels slightly picnic style and bland, but the food is anything but. They have a HUGE menu, and even serve beer. If you are expecting a 5 minute teriyaki experience, this isnt the place for you. This food is made fresh to order, and is absolutely DELICIOUS. After dinner they even bring you a complimentary cream puff for dessert that tastes fresh and OUTSTANDING. The spring rolls were huge, crisp and tasty dipped in the peanut sauce. Even on a Sunday night they were full, so the service felt stressed. That being said, I think its the mark of a great restaurant to be full. I would give them 5 stars but I feel they could add a staff member or two during busy times. I will definitely be back, over and over again.

My husband and I used to love this place....what happened? Weve been out of the country for a while and couldnt wait to go to Janbos again. Bad idea. It began with the hot and sour soup, which was luke-warm and tasteless. And looked like watered down motor oil. We got the combination dinner with chicken that was drenched in a sweet, syrupy sauce. To counteract the cloying sweetness I ended up salting it. The egg rolls were so dried out we could barely chew them. The fried rice was okay. To top it off the waitress started vacuuming next to our table. Time to leave and never come back.

I like it. Its not the best place, but its nice at times. Whenever I go, its fairly empty and quiet, which I prefer. I LOVE getting the chicken fried rice. They give you a HUMUNGOUS platter for ~$8. Back in high school, Im the only person who had a job out of all of my friends, so I would sometimes go with them to share the platter. Each platter of chicken fried rice could feed 2-4 people. Its amazing. Definitely a good value. The quality of service has varied each time Ive been there, so Ill say that its acceptable on average.

We tried this place our on a whim one weekend and it became our new favorite Chinese restaurant. The owner is extremely friendly and makes you feel welcome. The food all had great flavor and arrived quick enough. Lunch prices are outstanding. The interior could use a bit updating but it was not enough of an issue to warrant any loss of stars.

Ive been eating here for years because I love this place. The food is always amazing and the prices are very fair for the amount of food you get. My personal favorite is the Hong Kong noodle section near the back of the menu because the sauce is prefect and for $10 its big enough to feed two.

My husband and I ate here tonight. It was fabulous. The family style dinners are impressive. The portions large. The special appetizer platter was spectacular. The service was excellent, the staff experienced. Best restaurant experience weve had in awhile. Worth the drive!

Expensive for similar types of restaurants and food was salty and coated in thick sauce, even just steamed veggies. The locale itself is huge but empty and a little run down. Owner and employees were great and personable, but I wouldnt go back.

Food has always been great! Singing chicken or mandarin fried chicken are my favorites! There are few reviews on here that are reviews for Janbo Cafe. Which is a different establishment which serves Pho.
