Probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in the city, and not far away from my house so Ill go back and bring friends. I walked in and the waiter was very, very nice. I think hes Chinese American as his English was unaccented, and he really took the time out to ask me how I was doing and we made other small talk before he took my order and stuff. That is a welcome change from many other Chinese places I have been to where the staff doesnt seem to care a bit if you are in their restaurant or not. Food here was outstanding, loved my sweet and sour prawns and the veggie pot stickers were really really good too. The restaurant is small and cute, nothing to write home about, but there was a very homely feeling about it. The waiter came out again and I asked him what Tsing Tao meant, and he spent about 5 minutes explaining that it is a city in China with a climate quite similar to San Francisco. So I got good food and a geography lesson all in one! Great food and good service makes this a highly returnable spot for me whenever in West Portal.

The food was insanely good. I cant believe how much I ate, I really couldnt stop myself. Everything was tasty and its not expensive either! This place is the real deal; if youre trying to decide just come here already. Que rica fue la comida! Pero de verdad, es ridículo, me encantó. Sabrosa, buen servicio, precios razonables - que más puedo decir! Si estás tratando de decidir, hazte el favor y venga ya!

You can tell a lot about a Chinese restaurant by the type of shrimp they out in the fried rice and the fried shrimp. This places used real nice sized shrimp, not those lil tiny ones that are tough and veiny. The fried shrimp are plump, not those super Brady ones where you cant even tell if its a shrimp that wss fried. Every other thing Ive had here was very good. Do not confuse this place s with the one down the street with a similar name near Andresons Flooring.

This is a great place to eat. The average plate price is around $7. The service is one of the best values of this restaurant. The waiter is very friendly and usually remembers you and what you eat the last time you were there. It has a kind of family touch. The food is great, very tasty and everything is very fresh. Every time I get a cold or I start to get one, an egg flower soup from this place makes me get back to life.

Classic American Chinese food at reasonable prices. They always have great specials and the food is delicious. I studied some Chinese at university, and the owner is always willing to entertain my terrible Mandarin. Great place for a casual night out. Of course you always needs to order some Tsing Tao beer at New Tsing Tao!

If youre in West Portal and looking for Chinese food, then boom, youve found the best one! Yeah I know theres lots of choices but the friendly atmosphere and delicious food is what makes it the best choice. Best of all, their food arrives at your table crazy quick!

House beef = best Ive ever had Lemon chicken = awesome! Pork Pot stickers = leave me begging for more. Pork fried rice = the fresh egg adds a flavor layer of perfect compliment. Now I need to return home and recover. Cannot wait till return next yr.

Seriously 5 Stars! Delicious clean food. We had Sweet n Sour Chicken, String beans n Prawns, and Chow mein with Hot n Sour soup. Come here when in meed of that Chinese fix.
