This was my spot growing up. Sit at the sushi bar, or if youre a group, a tatami room maybe.. for some reason (maybe because they know me, or maybe im projecting) the sushi tastes 100% better face-to-face, one at a time, here. And the chefs are great, theyll suggest, or invent/debut, a new creation based on your tastes. At a table, sad to say, its slow, ordinary, and the sushi uninspired by comparison. but then again its a demand-driven system; and i fear that the consumers expectations are met in this case, rather than the ideal of sushi-ness i expect. ;op //on that note, guys, might i suggest a little _yakiniku_ section with BBQ pits built into the tables.. where the loud drinkers can talk over the loud families with kids. id put the BBQ next to the tatami rooms, and lose the cubicle feel.. families on the other side of the middle.. make the "extra bar space" with just the 2 or 3 stools there the BBQ-side waiting spot. (opposite from the takeout/togo waiting). rearrange a little to taste, lose the cold sake cup display (or move it 6 up the wall), maybe a small display fridge there, two beers on tap. One barback/BBQ "chef." Now youve got a waiting area on busy nights. but thats just me. since I know the place so well. some "advice." but then again theres always city code and permits and the lot, so.. //// so ill not hold it against you.. and ill keep coming here as well. sitting at the sushi bar. One bite at a time till Im full.

If I could Id give this place no stars me and my boyfriend walked in and got sat at a table and were completely left there. The table in front of us was getting waited on, we right away knew what we wanted and no one approached our table to check on us. We decided to get take out and so the waitress who seated us took our order and left us at the front desk . We thought it was maybe because we were only two people so she felt no need to serve us as quickly as she served the table of 6 across from us who came in AFTER we did. But a party of two men walk in so she seats them right away AT THE EXACT SAME TABLE SHE GAVE US, and tended to the right after seating them. Ive no clue what this woman deal was but Ill be sure to let everyone know how rude their customer service was when they ask me about this restaurant.

I like Yuris! Super convenient if you live in the Evergreen location. I enjoy coming to this sushi spot with my family because theyre kid/family friendly. They have an area in the restaurant which has the traditional Japanese seating which is super nice for the kids. It allows them to be able to walk around w/o disturbing the workers and other guests. The food is great! The cost is a bit higher than other places like Cha cha Cha, but their Sashimi pieces are huge and pretty fresh as well. They also have so many different cooked rolls you can choose from. You can even create your own. Check the place out, you wont regret it!

The food was absolutely superb. Love the traditional flavors of Japanese cuisine with some modern twists. My favorites include: Tar Tar (and I like to ask for extra seaweed chips) and the butter fish sushi. The ramen was good but pretty standard. Definitely try their fresh sushi and appetizers! Their mochi dessert is also quite delicious!

Very Friendly Staff, Excellent Food and menu price just right. Service timing really fast hardly no waiting. Just enough time to enjoy a few sip of a very cold Sapporo Beer. Can hardly wait to come back real soon.

Good spot for lunch. I will say that you need to sit in the sushi bar to be served at their best. Tables seem to take a little longer to be served. Other than that food is great.

The service was fast considering the amount of people in the restaurant. Their sushi rolls are pretty good, and the fish tasted fresh. Their bento boxes are just okay though.

Love the food and service is good. Prices are reasonable. Order my food to go and takes less the 20 minutes. Its always fresh and good. Please make sure you check it out.

Come early so that you avoid waiting cuz the seats filling up so quick. A bit pricey but very good sushi rolls, wish they have more traditional food besides sushi.

Amazing food, decent service. Just make sure youre not sitting by the door, theres a bell that rings whenever its opened and its really annoying.
