The best pho restaurant in Elk Grove and a contender for best pho in the Sacramento area. I usually judge pho places by a series of things, and this place has far exceeded them. The service is as expected of any Vietnamese restaurant. Warm and inviting ma & pa style of place with family style seating. Water and tea are filled quite often, and the staff are rather courteous, although dont expect them to have an extensive English vocabulary The extras are all there: bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños, limes, red sauce brown sauce, you name it, its there, and theyll provide more if you request it. We requested an extra bowl with soup and they happily obliged, which is a neat touch The pho itself is ridiculously rich. Im assuming its from a beef bone based broth because there are lots of complex beef flavors even before adding any extras. The meat is standard fair and adds some texture and buttery flavor if you add some fatty flanks. All in all, you can pit this against most revered San Jose pho establishments (which is saying a lot), and you should make a trip here when youre in the area.

Very welcoming, apparently clean, and the whole place smelled like broth and cooked meat, which was awesome! Wrapped plastic chopsticks... kinda strange because its labor intensive, but it adds to the "clean" feel of the place. No extra large bowl of pho, mushroom shaped ice cubes... cha giao wasnt as good as my mother-in-laws, but hers must be sprinkled with crack or something, because no one beats hers! The extra meat I asked for came on the side, rare, just like I like it. Kinda expensive though. I spent $13 on lunch, excluding tip. This place is going to be more memorable than places like Pho Thinh. Elk Grove is less Asian populated, so there were a lot of white people there.

Im not sure if its just their culture but I felt unwelcomed and lack of service. The waiter acted as if she was afraid to serve me. I receive my food long after other people who came in after I did. Waiter never came back to refill our drinks. Never came back to the table to ask if we needed anything. It was my first time going after I seen this place for years. But I will never come back again. I felt I had to pray over my food, it was not a pleasant vibe. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I went, I would have kept my money in my pocket. Via Facebook and other review sites many people experience the same as I.

This use to be my go to restaurant for pho and I always recommended to other friends. However, this place has decided to disappoint me. Even though the tables are empty they make you wait in line. They always have shortage of staffs. And theres long wait line of customers because they cannot serve everyone although you can see so many tables available. My daughter loved her salad thst had jellyfish. But I ordered the lemongrass dish in the entre menu. I might as well have ordered onoin, soy sauce and rice. The little bit of chicken was like so dry like little pieces of cardboard. I will not return. Not enjoyable. Sorry I spent my money.

This place is like hit and miss. Sometimes they are good sometimes they are off foodwise. And if you are unfortunate to get a non English server...they may or may not get your order right. And if they get it wrong you are on your own.

I come here for the chicken broth/veggie pho. They add tons of vegetables in it which is great. I also eat the standard steak pho once in a while, and that is amazing as well. Fast service, and open really late on the weekends.

Just flat bad services. If you go there and have a good experience. Lucky you. Wait til you raise you hand to ask for somthing while they pass by you and they ignore you... Youll start seeing a bunch of details piling up

Service was mediocre, but the food was the best Viet. food I ever had in California! And their dessert/Che was also the best I ever had. Ordered the #37 Dessert: Che (w/jackfruits, coconut, logans, and jelly)

Great alternative for Pho if you dont want to head into the Sacramento Little Saigon area. I like to go there on Wednesdays because they give kids a free bowl of noodle.

Thai tea had too much ice, hardly any tea. Boba was in a big clump, stuck together so you couldnt sip thru straw. Coconut drink was goid.
