Parking can be a bear, and the pizza has enough grease on it to power a small south african nation. Youll also smell like... er, Im not exactly sure what, but youll SMELL REALLY STRONG after eating even a few bites of their Indian pizza. You know what, though? Its worth it. The pizza is oddly tasty, very filling, and cheap for the amount of food. Im not sure Id make a whole meal out of just this pizza, but as an after-workout replenisher, it probably cant be beat (lots of protein, certainly lots of carbs, and so on). Oh, and last I was there, they had half-carafes of reasonably decent red wine for $4. Nice! Then you wont care how bad you -- and your friends -- smell! :)

Heres the sober truth, unless youre wasted, this food and experience will be subpar. We came here with high expectations due to Zantes touting the best Indian pizza in the bay and... well, its far from that. The pizza is doughy, lacks flavour and worst of all is dry. So dry that we asked for extra tikka masala sauce for our pizza after we started eating and they brought us a full order of tikka masala that they also charged us for. If you are in the mood for Indian food, try the place next door spicy bite and if youre really craving Indian pizza, try another spot.

I called and placed an order for ONE medium pizza...was quoted 40min. It has been almost 90min, and Im sitting here waiting still. No call, no heads up. Not starting off on a great foot here. UPDATE: Called and asked what was wrong with my order because it has been almost 1.5 HOURS. I expressed my disappointment at the service, and the guy on the phone said I should "probably just cancel my order to make things simple". The food was good, even 1.5hrs later, but this place gets 1 star for horrible service.

Because my son had a positive experience with Zante a year or so ago, we decided to try their delivery service while visiting San Francisco since we love Indian food. Alas, we were sorely disappointed. The toppings were very unevenly spread on the pizza, and there was not the hint of tandoori flavoring or other Indian spices. In fact, there was nothing about the pizza to distinguish it as being Indian cuisine. The worst Pizza Hut pizza I have ever had was better than this one from Zante.

Though the Chicken Tikki Masala was a tad overcooked, the food was tasty (if a little bland), it was insanely cheap, and seating was readily available. Special mention goes to the giant Tandoori Chicken Pizza, which, despite its uneven base and healthy serving of topping, held together without turning into a slopfest. Im most saddened that they havent taken the next logical step and started offering curry pasta (which is super delicious).

Ordered their pizza online. I was in a hotel in downtown San Francisco and they took over 2 hours to deliver. The pizza was cold and I am willing to let all that slide but it wasnt great to taste either. The pizza was overloaded with cheese and it didnt have enough sauce. At least give the Paneer pizza a pass. Sorry but I wont be ordering from here again. Please get your act together on quick delivery.

Love this place. Usually get the Indian veggie pizza by the slice but have ordered whole pies a couple of times. Have only had their pizza so cant speak on the rest of the food but the Indian pizza is a MUST TRY for San Francisco. Grab a couple slices, dont have them reheat it, and pop it in your oven at home for 7 minutes at 350 degrees. Perfect crispy pizza on demand

The first time I had Indian Pizza I was really just blown away. Now it seems just fine and a bit of a novelty for occasional (once a year or less) types of occasions. The Indian food is sub par here. The service is bad w/o being terrible, the food quality is low and the preparation is pretty bad -- heavy on cream and let the rest just follow. Pretty oily as well.

I ate Indian food here recently and it was pretty good. Years ago when I was vegetarian I had vegetarian pizza and that was nothing worth ordering. Maybe the meat pizza is way better, I dont know. But I thought they did all right with the standard Indian food. It was nothing amazing and I probably wont go back unless someone invites me but it was good.

I have loved this place since I first went here almost 10 years ago Indian pizza in indescribably unbelievably fabulous You gotta understand I could eat Indian food 24/7/365 My pizza criterion is from Chicago This is neither pizza, nor Indian food It is chiefly a chimera with charismatic characteristics of its own Truly unique Truly delightful

Really good pizza with Indian flavors is quite unusual and definitely worth a try. Expensive, but fun to taste. Some inconsistency - sometimes the crust is thin and flakey, other times its more naan like. And I havent worked out whether the change is something to do with what I order or just whos in the kitchen that night.

It was most awful experience i had while visiting SFO. I went to Naan and Curry and loved the food. This place made me sick. I would never go there and not recommend to anyone. I am not a picky person but if you like your hand get yellow and stay like that whole day then please go there... aweek...

A yummy different slice at pizza. Ive only done delivery. The slice could be a little thinner but take a piece of naan and super size it and sprinkle some your fav east indian spicy dishes to it and enjoy! I would give it 5 stars except Id prefer the crust a little thinner and less doughy.

Their Indian Pizza is great. Really addictive, especially when just made. I never tried their regular food yet as if I order there why not just get the pizza. Plenty of other Indian places, but I am not aware of any competition on the Indian Pizza segment.

and I have beeb getting one, pert near every 2 weeks for more then 15 years! Fast delivery, and they go beyond the call of duty. If anything, the pizza has only gotten better over the decades. The Vegetarian, ah sheesh, ALL of em are great...

The indian pizza from Zantes far exceeds expectations. I am shocked by how low the average review is here. I used to get delivery from here all the time and it always tasted amazing. The premise is good and the execution is truly exceptional.

Ordered delivery from them a few times, whenever the craving for Indian Pizza strikes. A Desi friend recommended the Best Vegetarian Indian Pizza, and its definitely worthy of its name. The Paneer Tikka Masala pizza is also pretty good too.

Hands down the best pizza Ive ever eaten anywhere in the world. I still think about this place and I even consider trying to integrate a trip to San Francisco into my travels just for the opportunity to indulge once more.

For me it was great for something different. If it was a drive, Id skip it, but it was work a bike ride to. We liked our pizza however the pizza with shrimp was not my favorite, and the chai tea was lacking.
