This is not a review about the food. Far more important to me is the customer service. I am an active parent at my daughters elementary school, which worked with Five Guys to donate 15% of their revenue during a set dinner time back to our school. In past fundraisers like these, we invite as many friends and family as we can because it is easy and for a great cause. We had over 8 families who have no relation to the school come through to support - especially to a place thats unhealthy and way more expensive for what a burger should cost. We were greeted with the cold reality that they would not accept our friends and family because they didnt have a flyer from the school, even though they were there ONLY to support my daughter and her school. There was a family there who had printed off more copies and we took several of those to use. Later, we found out that they werent going to count because we had to have the flyer prior to us entering their establishment. Im shocked that their policy of fundraising was limited to technicalities that resulted in several families and a manager arguing back and forth about their meals counting towards a fundraiser. It was honestly embarrassing for all families present. At the end of the day, Im estimating maybe $1,000-$1,500 in added revenue from the families from our school. At 15%, $150-$225 of total donation would have gone back to our school. A lot of money for an individual family, but small change for a business that is getting way more in marketing value and local perception. Carmen Marble is the manager at this establishment and should ashamed of herself to cause such a scene, which ultimately hurts our school and our children. At the end of the day, we really shouldnt be supporting our school through unhealthy food - so maybe it is our fault, but I really cant understand a manager making what could potentially be a PR nightmare.

Update (03/30/2017): I dont know why I keep coming to this place. I went back to this location two days ago and it took them 19 minutes (yes, I timed it) to get my order out. The placed was dirty as usually with trash bins being overfilled and the floor being littered with peanut shells and fries. The restroom had a used teaspoon thing with black ooze dripping from it (drug usage Im assuming?). God, this place is really terrible and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY VISITING HERE. GO TO 185TH FIVE GUYS INSTEAD! Ive been to this location about five or six times so far in the past few months. And I have to sadly give this place a 1-star. Why? Their food does not meet the standards of a Five Guys restaurant. The hamburger that I usually get doesnt match my order and their fries are so freaking crunchy. The fries at this location are extremely hard and not worthy to be called a Five Guys standard fries. They do not melt in my mouth and oh, they barely give you any extra fries in your bag! Their crew members acts unprofessional. When I went to this place one time, I saw people inside of the kitchen laughing and screaming out a persons order number because they wouldnt come up. The place is always dirty. The floor are filled with a thousand peanut shells and the restroom always has a freaking orange cone every time I enter. Overall, I dont really like this Five Guys location. Ive been to three different locations in Oregon and this one is probably the worst one.

We love the burgers at Five Guys, but we recently had a terrible experience. We ordered online and scheduled the pickup time at 5:45pm. We showed up on time and made sure they knew we had arrived. They said our order was in the queue (good). However, after 30 minutes of waiting we still hadnt got our order. We decided to ask for a refund since we couldnt wait much longer since we had errands to run. We were then told that we couldnt get a refund since only a Manager could do that. Where was the manager? Apparently nowhere to be found. I ended up taking the Mrs. home and then went back to get our food. I arrive at 6:30pm (45 minutes after our scheduled pickup time) and our food still wasnt ready. At this point I noticed that several folks that had come in much later than me, already had their food. I asked how much longer I needed to wait and they said it should be done in 15 minutes or so. Long story short...we ended up waiting an hour to get our food. No burger is worth that long of a wait. We had a terrible experience and will not be going back. We have been going to Five Guys for years and will never go back to that store. After formally complaining to corporate, we can collect a "free french fry". Not worth our time.

Like how they have a bevy of options to put on your burger only problem was they got my order wrong. Not something that I am to thrilled to find out after spending $10 bucks for the meal. You do however get a sizable portion so it should leave you going home full. Fries are hit or miss but I dig the style they are cut in. Just seems the salt they provide doesnt seem to stick. Had the burger come in the configuration I wanted then maybe this score would be a 3 or 4 star. There is potential.

Why doesnt every burger place that wants to be considered decent make fries like this? Yes, they could season their patties. But they put on tons of fresh produce and their fries taste like the potatoes they were recently cut from. I went in not wanting to like this place, but I will be going back. There may be a few other burger places out there that do a better hamburger - like Fresh Grill and some independent joints - but when I want a burger and FRIES I will head to Five Guys.

My girlfriend and I went to this Five Guys on 9/7/17 And there was a manager and a worker in the back screaming so loud we could hear it, the manager then ran out of the store making a scene doing it, there were also a bunch of kids running and screaming through the restaurant and into the back room obviously the kids belonged to one of the workers. This was the worst experience I have ever had a t a five guys and managers should not be acting that way.

I grew up by the original Five Guys and they were everywhere in the DC area, in fact. They were one of the food joints I missed the most, so I was SO excited when I learned there was one opening here. I always get a jr. size burger and regular fries to share. Their portions are huge, so be careful! But the meat is juicy, the toppings are fresh, and if you like spicy, try the cajun fries. You have to go, they are not a place to miss.

Words cannot describe how awesome this establishment is. When I walked in and smelled that amazing raw fresh french fries and heard them yummy patties burning up on that stove like a worried women in church I knew this place was the place of my dreams. Words cannot describe how American this place is. This is why I gave up 4 years of my life to the Navy - so I can come have a burger and fries and be in peace in my life. EAT HERE DAMMIT!
