I came here with my friend G.Y. last week since we were looking for a cafe where she could have a late lunch but I could just have a coffee (since I already had lunch). This place popped up on my Yelp search and it had decent reviews, so we decided to check it out. It shares a back parking lot with the businesses on its block, so parking is pretty easy. Its really close to Carmela Ice Cream, which I have visited on multiple occasions, and yet I have never noticed this cafe (probably since it is off of Altadena and not Washington). While they do serve a lot of American fare (coffee, sandwiches, salads) they also specialise in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. GY got their "Foul" which is a bowl of fava beans, garlic, lemon, cumin, and olive oil served with pita bread and a plate of white cheese, cucumber, tomato, mint, onion, and olive. She said it was decent but wasnt really a fan of the food. Shes not a Yelper but she said she would rate the food 2.5 stars but give the business 2 stars overall. I just got an iced chai latte and I thought it was pretty good. But the restaurant itself is really small. If Im being nice, I would call it homey... if Im not being nice, I would call it cluttered/messy with old items. The lady owner was nice and friendly, but this was not a place either of us wanted to come back to. I would probably give it 2.5 stars if I could, but Ill round up to 3 stars to support this mom-and-pop cafe.

I love this place! The owner is a true gem with her passion for fair trade. Also everything Ive tried there has been delicious. The customer service is always warm and welcoming too. Overall it feels good to support a kind and passionate local business owner who serves fantastic foods, coffee and smoothies! The atmosphere is also very calming and also has places to sit inside and outside. Highly recommended! Hooray for Cafe Culture! We need more places like this around.

Service staff was friendly. The coffee was good. The shop has a very airy atmosphere; if you want a coffee lounge feel, this is not it. They also support SERRV and have some of the beautiful handmade objects on display and for sale.

Coffee is excellent! Try Ralfis fine sandwiches. They have a Armanian bean bowl and plate with different vegetables. The people are like family, both owners and patrons.

The cafes atmosphere is so nice And relaxing. We stopped by after our hike. Food and drinks are great. Try the lemonade and roast beef panini!
