Last time we visited the sand dabs were served lukewarm because a cool plate was used. This time the duck was lukewarm. They know about warm plates because they heat them for the linguini. Even more disappointing was their failure to properly label the soap dispenser in the mens room. It says "hand sanitizer" but dispenses soap. I complained about this 2 months ago because I was expecting a fluid that did not require washing and rinsing. Sadly they have not taken the time or consideration to properly label the container. (As I think of this, Im going to drop my 3 star rating down to two. (Ill change this when they get the message and improve both the food and restrooms.) The food, though, is well prepared albeit poorly plated.

The wrap-around patio provides seating with a view of the street and mountains that the misters keep cool even in the hottest weather. The atmosphere, however, is where the cafes positive attributes end. The food was poor (and exorbitantly overpriced for its quality) and the service was slow and unfriendly, if not rude. Unfortunately, not even the nice setting can rescue this place from bad food, service and prices; I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

I travel from time to time to the Desert from Europe and Café des Beaux Arts is an address I would like to have overhere. Brie Burger is just an amazing creation. The menu is proposing delicious French cuisine that is worth high fly restaurants in France. Service is top with some members of the team that are here for many years. Contibutes to the fact you feel well and find a constant good quality.

Amazing solo female vocalist on Weds. Nice bar with a great wine selection. We had a meat and cheese platter with great imported meats and cheeses and wonderful, flavorful olive oil. Definetly a terrific midweek getaway. A little pricey for summer in the desert compared to other haunts, but worth the return for sure.

Weve been to this place in the past and liked it. But from the poor wine by the glass list ( with two, 2, White Zins!) to the poorly and carelessly prepared food, it was a huge disappointment. Spend your $100 some where else. See "dont wast your money" below. I second that review.

First time at Pacifica on a visit to the California desert. The date appetizers were wonderful. I had Sea bass, which was as good as I have had. The half size portions were a welcome option. Service was excellent and the second floor outdoor venue worked well on a warm evening.

Our favorite stop in the desert. Brie burger, coq au vin , spinach salad with shrimp and scallops are the best choices. I can honestly say weve never been disappointed. The service is top notch and if you like to people watch its the best location in the valley.

We had our Thanksgiving dinner here and loved it! Turkey was amazing, so juicy! We also liked salmon and lamb. Steak was ok but nothing special, my husband makes a much better steak. Other than that, everything was fine! Great service!

I have always enjoyed this place, even more now that they have re-done the bar area and provide live music. I love the bar bites menu, not too much food and greatly priced.highly recommend on wednesdays and fridays.

I love this place. The Escargot are to die for, but now since I found out I am gluten intolerant, I cant have the bread and that is part of the whole thing, but food is excellent, best French Restaurant in town.

A great place for breakfast. At the back of the cafe is a Parisienne style bar whilst the front seating area is spacious with wide windows. The service is fast and personable with delicious breakfast options.
