The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, with a nice lake view, there was a singer performing during dinner, all that was quite nice. Unfortunately the service here is extremely slow, and the wait staff is nowhere to be found. Now my biggest gripe for this place besides their slow service is the way they cook their salmon, maybe its a french thing but I have never had medium rare salmon, my wife just couldnt eat it which was quite disappointing. To be fair to the restaurant, after I was able to get a waitresses attention to ask for the check, she noticed the uneaten salmon(with utensils placed in did not like position) the waitress offered to replace the salmon with stripped bass and assured us it would just take a moment to make. This is the kind of service I expected. So we agreed and sat waiting and waiting and waiting for the replacement fish. After a wait that was unnecessarily long they brought out the fish and the revised check, now I was shocked but not alot, to learn they had removed the salmon from our check. In its place was a charge for the stripped bass which apparently was more. So this restaurant when trying to appease their patrons took their sweet ass time fixing the issue and then charged more. I will not be going back here, the experience and food do not justify the price. So I can in no way recommend this place to anyone. Oh and before I forget to mention this which ruined the meal for my wife, after the waitress came to our table any saw the uneaten food asked what was wrong to which my wife replied the salmon was raw in the middle, to which we got a response of well thats how we cook it this was said in the most condescending way ever, my wife then simply asked why she wasnt warned or why it wasnt stated on the menu, but again the response was laden with attitude you didnt ask thats the response we got. Ya Marché Bacchus like to keep it classy.

My wife and I went to Paris and Bordeaux as a graduation present for her Masters degree 2 years ago and came back with a hitchhiker, our first son. We fell in love with the food, mood, and life of Bordeaux in particular and cant wait to go back. Fast forward to this September and we had twins. Our first night out together since the twins we came to Marche Bacchus. This was easily one of the top 3 meals weve had in Vegas, comparable to the Paris hotels Eiffel Tower restaurant and the Chateaubriand we had at Embers (at the formerly Imperial Palace). It was very possibly better than both of them. We each started with a glass of a sparkling rose and ordered the Bacchus Charcuterie & Artisan Cheese to start, which we cleaned the plate. Highly recommended if you like fancy cheeses and meat. We then ventured into the wine shop to pick our bottle to have with dinner. You literally walk through the crates and just pick a bottle, then they add it to your check and pop it at the table. With the assistance of the GM we got a nice Bordeaux blend. I cook perfect lamb. The lamb my wife got here was better. Blew us away. I had chilean seabass, which destroyed my palate for the rest of my life. It just melted in my mouth. Pretty sure that both our meals were specials and not on the regular menu. My wife is a tiramisu connoisseur, and their tiramisu was easily the best weve had. Everything is made in-house, and it truly showed. I put that noise level was moderate, but that was because of the live music on Saturday night. The music was modern but tasteful, think mellow acoustic classic rock, and very enjoyable. The view was very romantic and made the mood. Nothing quite like sitting at the edge of a lake with a bottle of wine and good company. Special thank you to Nicole our server and everyone that helped make this a very memorable evening.

We took my mother in law to Marche for Mothers Day lunch. When we got there, we were disappointed to find that the person who took our reservation by phone, never entered the reservation or phone number on their computer. Bad omen. We were seated about a half hour later near the lake. We found out that the menu was limited to just a few items, the filet Marche is noted for, was NOT on the menu. The limited menu meal would cost $49 each with a mandatory 18% gratuity. We should have left right then. After about fifteen minutes, a person told us that our waiter would be right with us. About fifteen minutes later, the waiter arrived and took our order. About a half hour later the appetizer arrived, a single cold prawn on a cold dish. Our coffee never arrived. Our water was not topped off either after we asked the waiter to bring us more water. I ordered the sirloin steak, my wife and mother in law ordered grilled salmon. About 35 minutes later, the entrees arrived. The salmon was cold, my sirloin was cold and tasteless, nestled on a bed of what tasted like instant potato with canned peas sprinkled about.. About 25% of the meat was gristle. It was simply awful. The waiter said our dessert would be ready soon. We again asked for our coffee and some more water which never arrived. After another half hour, the drinks and dessert had not arrived. I went looking for the waiter to find another gentleman angrily telling another waiter that he wanted the bill immediately as he was leaving. I advised my waiter to forget the dessert and just give me the bill and to NOT give himself the 18% gratuity. We have always gone to Mesa Grill for special occasions and have NEVER been disappointed with any part of the experience. Marche? Never again!

My husband and I visited on March 21, 2015 with three other couples, celebrating an anniversary and a birthday. The service was deplorable. It took an extremely long time before our waiter, Javier finally appeared with an ill-mannered and disdainful attitude, speaking only to one individual in our group, ignoring others, and causing our orders to be staggered, delaying everyones meals with no apology, in addition never topping off water glasses or bringing additional bread, disappearing for extremely long periods of time, his arrogance was abominable. (at this point, my husband and I were ready to depart, but had to stay with party) The food was just mediocre because both the Truffled mac & cheese (soupy) and asparagus (undercooked) had to be returned and the French onion soup was straight out of a can. The bill/receipt still had the charges for the returned items. We did complain to the owner, who feigned surprise and had to actually insist to his insolent worker (Javier) to apologize to us and then finally adjusted the bill. The food doesnt merit stars and some staff members dont warrant employment. The establishment doesnt encourage any customers to visit unless theyre the neighborhood locals. Their plan was successful...I will not return again.

If you have access to a car when visiting Las Vegas, Marche Bacchus is a must to do on your list. I read some reviews and decided to try it out. It turned out to be one of the best decisions in Vegas lol. It is approximately 14 miles from the Strip but well-worth the visit seriously. It has both outdoor and indoor seating. It is set on a "lake" in the section of town called Desert Shores. You dont feel like you were in Las Vegas and is a refreshing change from Casino and the hustle and madness in downtown Vegas. As you enter the restaurant you pass a large selection of wine that you can purchase to drink with your dinner. The bottle prices are very reasonable in comparison to other Vegas restaurants from my experiences. If the weather cooperates, dine outside as it is lovely and soothing. The menu is varied - mostly with a French twist - and everything we ordered here was INCREDIBLE. As a Las Vegas visitor, Marche Bacchus is a restaurant I will try to make one of my go to spots when in the area. The staff friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. You cant go wrong here from staff to the food just a PERFECT EXPERIENCE.
