<> This is a great French restaurant and dining experience! Having lived in Paris and Montréal, this restaurant has the closest feel to the restos is used to inhabit while abroad! The menu has a variety of delights. I had the Salade Frisée and the Steak et Frites! Delicious! Everything was cooked to request and executed with excellent service. I do not drink alcohol, but a glance at the drinks, wine, and beer lists, they appeared to offer a broad selection. RESERVATION ARE SUGGESTED. Unlike most restaurants in San Diego, this restaurant is French in size. Large restaurants are not the rule in non tourist neighborhoods in Paris or Montréal. This is a restaurant intended is a sole proprietor located in your <>. Including the bar, La Bonne Table maybe seats 20, possibly more, but 30 people would be on the high side! Me and my dining partner were lucky enough to snag one of the two seat tables on the small terrasse! The beautiful evening plus great food equaled a relaxing, satisfying night. If you are looking for a restaurant to remind you of your trip to the Olde World, La Bonne Table is for you!

Searching on yelp, this place was top 3 for dinner on Yelp. We had reservations at all 3 of them and settled on this, looking for a light(er) meal. We were pleasantly surprised by how quaint this place was. Such small intimate place. Sitting on the patio is perfect for people watching. Our server, Victor, was amazing. We spent 4 hours here with many appetizers and bottles of wine; nothing tops their fresh baguette [ which we requested 3 re-fills of ] :-) The food was decent ( good ); but what really gives this place the five stars is the service and the atmosphere. It was perfect for a relaxed friday dinner date. Will definitley go back.

We happened to be walking by and dropped in for dinner. What a great place! The food was amazing! We started with the escargot which was full of the perfect amount of garlic and butter, just how I love it. I had the duck confit with lentils and all I can say is wow! DELICIOUS! It was honestly perfect. My husband had the steak and fries. His steak was ever so slightly over cooked however the owner was very apologetic and really intent on making it right. My husband ate it anyway and said it was still great. Ive found my new favorite place to eat French food :-).

Go for the duck confit and youll never go anyplace else. Its that good, AND its that good every time. Ive been 3x and never disappointed. Sure, only 6-9 tables in this little gem but plan ahead, get an appetite up and have a great meal.

Its an awesome place for a lazy Sunday brunch or a date. The food is amazing, and the waiter is courteous and efficient. What sets it apart though, is the ambience - quaint and cozy.
