Okay to start off...I am VERY PICKY at restaurants. Not just with food, but with the service--if Im going to be spending a decent amount of money, I expect to be treated well. This place truly BLEW ME AWAY. My hubby and I went here during our Feb 2017 trip to Vegas for a nice romantic dinner together. It was a little ways off the strip, but only about 10 minutes from where we were staying near SLS/Stratosphere. Compared to other Vegas restaurants, the prices were VERY reasonable (and theres even a Groupon deal you can get!). Right from the minute we stepped in, we felt completely welcome and comfortable. The waitstaff all works together to ensure that you are constantly being taken care of. Pierre (I believe he is an owner) went above and beyond to check in on us, and even shared with us some cool stories and pictures of the restaurant from 40 years ago! The food was incredible. Each meal came with bread and a HUGE basket of crudités to munch on while waiting for your appetizer/dinner. I ordered my steak medium (Im typically a rare girl but had to get the medium because of my pregnancy) and the staff made a point of coming over and informing me that that particular cut is better cooked rare. I really appreciated them going out of their way to make sure I had the best cooked meat possible. My hubbys cut of filet mignon was HUGE, definitely not those scrappy 4-6 oz. cuts you find on the strip fro $50-60. And omg it just melted in your mouth. After dinner we had the chocolate lava cake...ORDER IT. You will NOT regret it. It was absolutely incredible. And then they also brought out an ice cream sundae with a candle in it for our anniversary! If youre visiting Vegas, go to this restaurant. Youll get away from the noise and craziness of the strip, and youll have an AMAZING dining experience.

This restaurant is located a couple slightly sketchy blocks off of the Strip near the closed Sahara hotel. They will gladly accept off-menu requests with 24 hour notice, and quite honestly thats the way to go to make sure there is something spectacular you want on the menu. Always always go with the price fixe menu for $38 (a massive steal). The service isnt the snobby service youd expect in a French restaurant; it was old-fashioned and classy. Thank goodness! I hate uptight snobby servers; I want someone to make me feel at home and thats what they did. The "price fixe" menu starts off with a "Crudite Basket" thats essentially a make your own salad with a dijon vinaigrette. Plus the worlds most wonderful bread! They fly in olives from two different countries for people to enjoy; amazing. Everything is all organic too! The escargots bourgingons is to die for as was the seafood brouchee in the appetizer section. Next came the entrees: coq au vin and salmon. My partner said the salmon was the best hed ever had anywhere, and the coq au vin was falling off the bone, super moist, and delicious. Desert was dark chocolate mousse and a trio of sorbets (grapefruit, raspberry, chocolate) perfectly prepared -- very little sugar so that the flavor was emphasized.

Transport back in time to where the gangsters used to have their dinner and sit in a bullet proof both. This historic Vegas gem has its own greenhouse where all the herbs and vegetables are grown on site and in an elaborate extention of connected properties bringing farm and table to an entirely different level. Instead of bread, your waiter will collect fresh crudite for your table upon your arrival. With the classical french menu, and intimate setting this is one of the best restaurants in vegas. Step away from the strip and have the best lamb shank you will ever have in your life.

We went to celebrate a birthday. It was a cute and quaint little place that felt like Europe, not some big flashy restaurant on the strip. Our waiter gave us a little history of the restaurant, and described everything well. The owner of the restaurant came to our table and said happy birthday. They brought out a souffle with birthday candle for the birthday celebrant. I had forgotten I had made a request for a birthday dessert when I booked the reservation online over a week ago, but they remembered. It was perfect.

The waiter handed me the bill and to stood in front of my table with my date in an attempt to put pressure on me to leave a good tip. I told him thank you and that was all for now. I left the standard 20% as I always do. Three minuets later The hostess came, asked me if I filled out the filled out a card in the check book, opened the check book, grabbed the receipt and preceded to explain the card to me. Shut the book and walked away. I wont be going there again. Oh and the food wasnt that great.

My wife and I love this place and will make it a regular when we are in town. The waiter/Maitre de was very attentive and entertaining; we enjoyed a leisurely 2 hour dinner (our first!). The fresh baguette was perfect! Nice crust and a hearty, yeasty inside! Our appetizers (foie gras and scallops) were tasty. The entrees, lamb and beef dishes were tender and cooked to perfection. Finally, the chocolate mousse was the real thing - not choclate pudding that one typically gets.

After not having been here for almost 20 years when it was a favorite of mine, I recently convinced the entire group for my family reunion to come here for dinner. It was a wonderful as I had always remembered it with great food, great service, and an older type of small restaurant elegance. And while not inexpensive, when compared to all of the new restaurants opened around Las Vegas by "name" chiefs, it is a bargain.

Never again will I dine at this restaurant. Food was decent but sme things were horrible like pouring sherry out of the bottle. This should be added during cooking so you get the.flavor of the sherry without the harshness from the alcohol, huge fail as with wisking away their vegetable basket before you have a chance to enjoy it. Too many other dining options in Las Vegas to bother with ones that just dont get it.

Great historic place, it was exactly as the website described. Took a large group (15+) there for friendly dinner and the staff and chef did not let us down. Excellent service and quality food for a good price. Great for couples of quiet intimate dinner, or to provide inviting atmosphere for close knit group to enjoy. Dont skip this treasure.

Very intimate atmosphere and our server was great. The food was great but it was our first time with some of the French cuisine so we are not the best to make the recommendation. Our server was very friendly and patient and although there was a mix up with the bill he was very apologetic and friendly about it. Definitely plan on coming back.

A Vegas classic for sure. Late night dining and once in a while you spot a local celebrity. The food choices on the menu are plenty but centered on diner type good. But all is good. Four stars instead of five just cause parking isnt ideal. But still always on the list for hearty late night meals.

Took over 3 hours to get all our food. Price was not worth it. Service was substandard. It appeared as though they contracted waiters for the valentines day evening since they were not familiar with anything and kept asking if we had received our next item. We wont be back. Very disappointed.
