I guess its my fault for continually patronizing their business, but the Pizza Hut on Fruitvale has constantly screwed up over the span of several months and orders. Im not sure if the head manager there is inept, therefore hiring inept people and perpetuating a never ending parade of ineptness, or if everyone who lives on this side of Oakland is clinically retarded. The first time I ordered (by phone) my pizza came 1.5 hours after I had called. Of course, I called at the one hour mark when I was told they sent out the driver, and then 15 minutes later when I realized I could have walked to Pizza Hut by then. The pizza was as cold as a brick. When I called back the manager (who seemed irritated) told me to call corporate. The second time I ordered they forget my receipt to sign. Driver had to make two trips, wouldnt give me my pizza on the first one. Not like I PAID FOR IT ALREADY OR ANYTHING. The third time I ordered they forget a pen to sign, I signed in pencil, but wanted to stab the driver and sign in his blood. The fourth time they forgot my receipt to sign again. I made the driver give me my pizza and he came back 15 minutes later for me to sign. I guess thats a semi victory. The fifth time they forgot about me. Period. I went to Taco Bell which also sucked, but thats another review. Now guys, I know that you probably went to college for Pizza Delivery and have written several dissertations on "The Art of Pizza", but is it that hard to answer the phone, work the cash register, and drive a car? Apparently if you are anyone at Fruitvale Pizza Hut, it is.

Horrible, horrible. horrible. Once upon a time, around ten years ago, this location made some slammin pizzas and the employees were always polite and professional. I tried them again a few months ago and was shocked by the decline. Now EVERYTHING that comes out of this joint totally sucks. Terrible, tasteless, cold & dried out pizzas arrive missing most of the toppings you ordered. Not to mention that it takes them hours to even deliver the slop. My ten-year-old could throw together a better pizza than they do. Why is this establishment still open? This Pizza Hut should be bulldozed.

Haters gonna hate. Yeah this place is ghetto (plexiglass barrier, a busy bus stop outside, trash on neighbors sidewalk) but they have free parking and are friendly and helpful. Phone and counter service was courteous, order was accurate, ready in 15 minutes, and the driver held the door open for me--twice. Sometimes their website goes down, they dont honor all advertised deals, and theres a $4 delivery charge. Not a five-star restaurant, but there is straightforward pizza in my face right now (fresh spinach & tomato on a bacon-stuffed crust!) and well, yum.

My girlfriend loves pizza hut and this is the only place close to us. Sadly they do not deliver to us, so we always go for pick up. Somehow they manage to ALWAYS get the order wrong. Just today my gf ordered hot wings and they were out of sauce, they took the order anyways and tried giving her regular bare wings. Also, they dont give refunds so they pretty much $%#@ up your whole day. I dont know why she keeps going there, this is literally the worst pizza hut I have ever been to.

I called to place an order at 10:32. The person taking my order asked if I wanted deliver or carry out I asked if they had any delivery specials. She said before she can tell me she needed my phone number & address. I gave her both. Then she said my address doesnt exist. Then she put me on hold then someone else answered & said it was too late to order. So I was stuck with no food. Im going in tomorrow morning to file a complaint to the manager. Now I gotta order dominoes.

Terrible customer service. Was transferred to a store in Key West, Fl after calling to ask where my late order now was. I found out 3 phone callls later The driver had left 30 minutes prior, but my house is 5 minutes from the Pizza Hut so Im not sure what is going on there. Pizza showed up cold. Must be a reason why this place has 2.5 stars

I asked for a triple treat box and they said that they can not give me it to me because there out of cookies and brownies. Sounds to me like they cant give me what Im paying for. There loss because they just lost a customer. There pizza was terrible anyways.

I called and asked if they ordered (which their website said they do) and the worker gave me attitude. She answered in a rude tone that they do not deliver. Which the location is only three blocks away. A very rude pizze hut.

Terrible customer service and the pizza was horrible !! After we received our refund for the disgusting undercooked barely any cheese on it pizza. We were told they could never order from them again
