First off, they enjoy double charging customers and then even though it is their mistake, the credit back doesnt appear for several days. Second, twice now I have received orders where quality assurance was non existent. Paid over $90 for a meal from Rosines which included a new york steak that was well done when asked for rare, a baked potato that was hard as a rock, and vegetables that were overcooked and mushy. We also ordered calamari that was burnt. The second order was an order from Ticos Tacos that when asked for plain asada tacos with only cheese and sour cream for my 5 year old daughter, came to us with salsa and guacamole only which was way too spicy not only for daughter but when I tried it was nearly unbearable for me. When called on duty manager said I can have another order delivered but it would be over an hour wait at 8pm for a 5 year old. Customer service sucks ass, and quality assurance is garbage.

I have used Doorbell Dining a lot over the years. Their service in Santa Cruz County has been getting worse and worse til it seems to have become non existent. Today just is the topper. In the past the delivery has come up to 2+ hours after their estimated time of delivery which is bad enough. Today, within 5 minutes of when my lunch was supposed to be delivered to my work, I get a call from them saying that they have been unable to reach the driver so they just didnt know how they were going to be able to deliver the food. If I would like to go pick it up, they would pay for my order. If I could go pick up my food, I would have done it in the first place instead of being charged their way too expensive (considering their lack of service) fees. I do not foresee ever using them again and would advise anyone considering using them to think again.

Do not order your food from here! A plate from panda is $7.40 they charge $9.50 plus a mandatory delivery fee and a mandatory 20% tip for a delivery! Also the utensils and plates you get free from Panda Express they charge you for it! Its a rip off, and its ripping off companies. Youre better off going in yourself to buy the food then getting charged an extra $20. This company needs to be reported and should be ashamed for what they are charging people. Have some integrity.

So their delivery driver kept cutting me and my bf off all around town and severely pissed him off and hes a marine like cmon you dont want to do that. I did call and left my number and told them the license plate and asked them to do something because it was dangerous and never got a call back which i felt was unprofessional i will be calling again tomorrow but i feel like they dont take public safety very seriously which is sad.

For one half of the people who comment badly saying the food is bad, thats not their fault. They dont make the food. The deliver the food to you from another place that did make it, so if you have problems, blame them. And second they are helpful and convient. They do have their ups and downs, but over all its okay.

The service was good and friendly, but I never got an item that I ordered and paid for. I dont know if the restaurant never gave it to the driver or if the driver forgot to give it to me. But everything came in a plastic bag all tied up and I didnt realize it wasnt in there until the driver was long gone.

OK let me start by saying first off how convenient secondly they do not cook the food themselves so if its not correct or cooked right its not their fault. And they will go to a number of restaurants in the area and pick up your food for a small fee and deliver it to you work or home

On two occasions Ive waited on hold for over 30 minutes before giving up on ordering from them. It was fairly obvious that they gave zero F about anawering the phone, but I stayes on the line just to see how long it would take. No dice. I guess some people dont like money.

Overall, it has been great. Quick and easy and the drivers are very friendly. I have only had one issue with an order that wasnt complete - I wrote to the companys customer service e-mail several times and never received a response. I was surprised by that.

Dinner was correct as ordered. Arrived earlier than expected all 3 times Ive used it so far. Driver was friendly and thanked me for using their services. BTW, I ordered from 3 different restaurants, not always the same one. The $5 charge is well worth it!

Doorbell Dining services have been a lifesaver for us in the past few months because our schedule is so busy that we do not have time to cook and we dont eat fast food so this is the perfect solution. Great service and very professional drivers.

I have had great experiences with them...although sometimes the restaurants do make mistakes , they always make it right in some way. I have used them often and for a long time.
