Ordered online through eat24. On a hunch, we called to make sure the order was in. No answer at the restaurant... Turns out they closed early without disabling the online ordering. Waste of time and an annoying delay in getting food. Very unprofessional. ** EDIT: The owner is apparently a psychopath who responds to negative reviews with long, poorly written rants full of immature insults. He does this after stalking your FB page like a serial killer and drawing really stupid conclusions from what he reads. Not only are these people unprofessional and unaware of how to run a business in the 21st century, they are also apparently very angry and mentally unstable. Read some of the other negative reviews on Yelp and Google and this crazy bastards responses, and think carefully if you want to risk your family by going into this establishment. If this dude spent as much time taking care of customers as he does insulting already-pissed-off people he doesnt even know, he might be more successful and have fewer bad reviews. Wow! Seriously, Mr. Angry owner, take it down a notch before you hurt yourself and maybe see a therapist. You have mental problems. You could just respond to a bad review by arguing its validity or explaining the misunderstanding rather than losing your mind and embarrassing yourself. You have the power to make it better or make it worse with your comments, and you clearly have a tendency to escalate to nuclear. Reviews can be improved if you offer a reasonable explanation that changes a reviewers mind, so maybe try that next time. Youre only hurting yourself and your family by losing control. Just take a deep breath and get a grip.

I would give a zero if that was possible. I was travelling and decided to try this place ordering through eat24hours. After I placed the order I called the restaurant to let them know that we were in a hotel and to make arrangements on how to get the food delivered to us, but the phone keep sending me to the machine to leave a message. After many tries I decided to contact eat24hours to make sure everything was fine. They also had a hard time contacting the restaurant to the regular number, but it seems they had other numbers to find the restaurant owners. A few minutes later I got an email from eat24hours cancelling my order because the restaurant closed early that day. If I had not contacted eat24 myself I would have waited for a long time before I learned about the early closure and probably would not have been able to find another place to get food from on a Sunday night. I regret choosing this restaurant and will never give them my business because they are very unprofessional and irresponsible about their business.

EDIT: 4/15/16 - I am sorry I do not remember what it was called, but it looked like a Shawarma, right before I saw the raw meat and threw it in the trash. I should have just eaten the thing to see what happens when you eat raw chicken (maybe its good? maybe thats how the do it in Morocco?). Thanks for rectifying the situation Mr. Business Owner! This past weekend I ordered a Chicken Shawarma which showed up with raw chicken and a bone in it. I don’t really feel like elaborating past that, but am looking forward to the BPD laden diatribe that is sure to follow this simple review of food that could have killed me. The owner of this amazing restaurant warmly welcomed us in at three am, took us in even though he was about to close. Since it was late- he asked "veggie" or "meat" ~~ we said "veggie" and he made us saffron rice- and an assortment of fresh veggies that he cooked separately. Quick service. Amazing ambiance. I getting Moroccan music which we throughly enjoyed. Over all Diamond in the rough. He even blessed our food. I could def taste the love. Please go. You will be satisfied. <3

I had a great meal and a truly memorable cup of coffee in a pleasant space for a reasonable price. What compelled me to sing this establishments praises as far as I can was the owner Saed who is a scholar, historian and storyteller as well as chef. He is a local treasure. You cant help but feel like part of the family as soon as you arrive. Come with some time to spend, youll want to linger.

Best food you could possible get delivered. Said brought us apples and cookies as gifts, and the food was incredible. The dishes literally had over 20 different ingredients in it. An epiphany-inducing medley of different tastes and flavors that soothes the palette while satisfying the stomach. RECOMMENDED HIGHLY

Said is a wonderful and his food is delicious. If you like authentic Middle Eastern / North African food, this is really the place for you. Be warned that this restaurant is very much a whole-in-the-wall. However, I cannot recommend this place strongly enough.
