Visited on a Friday evening prior to an in-store performance at the nearby Silver Platters record store. The shop wasnt too busy so seating was easy to find. Based on the descriptions, everything on the menu sounded amazing. I chose the Caribbean Roast sandwich and a side of sweet potato fries. The wait was fairly short and the food was hot and delicious. My one complaint of the sandwich was it was very saucy. It came wrapped in paper which I though I could use to hold the sandwich as I ate. No dice, it was saturated. However, the meat was sweet and flavorful and sat perfectly on the baguette. Fries had the perfect blend of crispy exterior but soft inside with a light dusting of flaked salt. Lucked out with getting there before the Mariners game was on as I bet the joint would be packed with baseball fans. Ill definitely come back next time Im hungry in SODO.

How can you go wrong with SLOW ROASTED CARIBBEAN PORK?! A Seattle staple, Paseos has expanded with a location now in SODO, 2 blocks south of the Stadiums. All of the classics you love, with the addition of a few new items, and most importantly, LOTS OF INDOOR SEATING AND AN EXCELLENT BEER SELECTION! On my first visit to this new location, I tried the Paseo Press and concluded it is EVEN BETTER than the Caribbean Roast. Service is on point, they are always consistent, and I am happy. OPEN EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK

My coworker had this restaurant cater our lunch and the entire staff and guest were so pleased! The food was on point. Jason and one of his staff members delivered the food it was fresh, hot and delicious. We will definitely order from this restaurant again. I plan on going to visit the restaurant downtown so I can try their rum punch.

The food is great but the service can be kind of shotty. I waited 25 minutes for corn and rice and didnt get any acknowledgement or an apology at the end. I even sat by the employee who hands out the food and was completely ignored. My suggestion is to order ahead because they are usually pretty good at having that ready.

Its not perfectly the same as the old (I know, the old is gone, move on!), but its still a damn tasty sandwich. Ive only ever had the Caribbean Roast sandwich, but what more do I need? The SODO location is huge with plenty of indoor space and a fair amount of outdoor seating as well (when the weathers right).

This is by far the best Paseo I have ever been to. The service is superquick and the seating is casual, yet a bit business like as well. I love meeting my son there for lunch whenever I can. Its a "try to eat a very drippy messy sandwich without getting it all over your tie" kind of restaurant

Roast pork sandwich feeds two and is delicious. Pork is falling-apart tender and garnished with plenty of onions and jalapeños. Bread, great. Beer selection great too. Got the happy hour wings and to my surprise, loved them too. Even the atmosphere feels upscale, surrounded by Sodo.

Its Paseo, its still one of the best sandwiches in town. But, its not the original and the flavors are just slightly off. Plus, the proteins seem a bit dry the few times Ive eaten at this location. That said its the best option pre game or concert in SoDo!

Stumbled upon the new SODO location today!! Absolutely amazing food, awesome work staff and Ryan Santwire is incredibly down to earth and a very nice, friendly guy who didnt mind chatting with us for a few. And the outdoor seating area is pretty cool!!!

Marvelous sandwiches! Setting is a little dingy but I think that adds to the charm of the experience. Smiles go for miles too when it comes to customer service. But will a little dingy-nous and lack of teeth stop me from eating here? HA! No.

This is not paseo! I should have know from the giant sign out front and the lack of a line but this was not what I expected. It was an okay sandwich but it wasnt a stand in line in the rain, take your out of town friends to sandwich.

I didnt give it 5 because it just isnt the same as the original. The food is excellent and I would go back but melt the cheese all the way on the Paseo Press and add more onions. The onions make the sandwich a little more amazing.

Delicious sloppy sandwiches without the long line (for now) of the Queen Anne location. They also have a couple nice beers on tap and picnic style outdoor seating complete with giant jenga and cornhole. Ill be heading back soon.

Pretty tasty sandwich. Their pork is dry each time I eat it but the the other toppings and the quality of the bread allows me to push past it. Definitely worth grabbing lunch here if youre in the area or havent had it before.

Caribbean Roast pork sandwich, had to get it because Ive heard so much. Split the sandwich and both of us were full. Good portion of meat, tasty sauce. Next time I will get the Caribbean bowl. It looked scrumptious.

I have to go to Paseos at least once a week. Best sandwiches in SoDo. Giant platters if youre really hungry, all good food. If you get bored you just look out the window at the crazy stuff that happens on 1st Ave.

Fantastic sandwiches. I cant vouch for the "authenticity", Ive never been to Cuba but I do know sandwiches. These are delicious! I always get them to go, not really my style, especially on game day.

Maybe it was an off night, but the chicken sandwich was so dry and tough that I only ate half...never happened before. Im going to give it a shot again but I may stick with the original location.

Really good sandwiches! Highly highly suggest checking one of thier restaurant out if in the area. I use to go to blazing bagels before mariners games, this is my new go to and its much better!

The sandwich everyone should get was good but not great and the service was a bit cumbersome. The Cuban restaurant clean the street is a far better choice for an amazing sandwich experience.

What an amazing sandwich! I didnt get the opportunity to eat here when they were in Fremont but its a dangerous thing that they have a location so close to the stadiums now!

ST

Solid. Nice to have another location south of the ship canal. 95% of the flavor of the original although Un Bien (with the original sauce) is still better on Crown Hill.

Great big hunking sandwiches ! Lip smacking BBQ and Caribbean food.

JA

They dont have limes or lemons and wouldnt give me sour cream because the guy said he didnt have a way to ring it up! Strange considering the type of food they serve....

There is no better sandwich in heaven or on Earth. These things are life changing. Come hungry and wear a bib. Oh yeah, and you have to get the black beans too.

JE

Jeffrey To

Excellent Cuban sandwiches. If you hear someone say that one sandwich will feed five, thats completely wrong. I can probably eat one whole one myself

PH

Good food, but not amazing. Pretty good service but not great. Very slow at lunchtime. Some folks swear by this place, but Im underwhelmed.
