While some may balk at the high price of some of the menu items, Cruisers is perhaps the most laid-back and consistently pleasant bar experience Ive found on the peninsula. A sports bar that focuses on Chicago style pizza, you can catch just about any game from any sport on one of their many bountiful TVs. The only time Cruisers ever charges cover are on days where theres a PPV event theyre broadcasting (which is generally for UFC or boxing.) Otherwise, they have two happy hours daily (3-7 and then 10-12) where you get to enjoy $5 U Call Its or $2 off beer (where you can actually get a better deal on a shot of Patron than you can off of a beer on tap... odd.) Be mindful that the U-Call-Its dont extend to Mules or Martinis, but simple drinks arent ever a problem. The facilities are clean and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The only way this place could be better is if they offered pizza by the slice, which seems like a no-brainer because theyre supposed to be a pizza parlor anyway.

PIZZA!! There is a secret mission in all of us to find the best pizza on the planet - its human nature. Cruisers Chicago style deep dish is damn close to the pizza I dreamed of as a kid - the Ideal Pizza (IP). And though Ive only eaten about 513 different types of pizza out of the thousands out there, I can say this IP resides on my secret list of favorite pizzas that I keep in a safe deposit box with my grandmas jewelry. Its soft, full of flavor, warm, so warm and soft and delicious. Its a good idea to plan ahead because if youre hungry, like I just made myself hungry, remember it takes 45 minutes to make a miracle IP. I like to call ahead. Or head on over, sit at the bar, play a game of beer pong in the back, or just talk to people. Overall, Cruisers is the laid-back homey bar and grill youd expect in Newport but never seem to have the pleasure of finding.

This is hands down the best sports bar on the Newport peninsula. They have an awesome circular bar right when you walk in the front door. It has TVs around, and plenty of restaurant seating nearby too. At first I thought I had seen the whole place til someone told me about the HUGE patio space. I went to check it out to find both beer pong and corn hole being played outside! (Only bar in Newport with a drinking game setup like this)! They also have a separate room with another bat that has a huge projector screen for watching any big games! Im sure it would be a great spot for a private game party! The service was top notch, they had Stone IPA on tap, and the salmon I had was delicious. Overall they get an A++ no more small cramped sports bars just so I can stay in Newport... Cruisers is the go-to place!

Ive never left a review before, so here goes. After a morning of playing in the waves, my husband and I were quite famished. We read the awesome reviews for this pizza place and definitely wanted to try some. We came in and sat ourselves, as prompted and waited. And waited. 15 minutes later, with no menu or even a simple greeting, we just left (the restaurant was NOT busy and we made eye-contact with at least 3 people working there). We were super hungry. We wouldnt have minded waiting for food, but we hadnt even gotten a menu or a "hello". So, its a shame, but unfortunately, we cant comment on the food itself- we never got any!

This is a great one to have on the list especially with large groups. While they are not as close to home as some of the other bars, the environment with super friendly owners, great drinks and some delicious Nachos and Deep Dish Pizza makes it well worth it. Great for groups: They have back patio area that they have games like corn-hole going on. Then they also have a dining area and a separate groups area with a huge screen for games and tons of TVs. Thats all in addition to the big Circle bar at the front. No pun intended, but we Bike (or Cruise;) down regularly to have a beer or some unlimited Tacos for Taco Tues.

I found this place when looking for a sports bar to watch the World Series Cubs vs. Indians. Turned out to be a jackpot for Cubs fans! I have tried their wings, poke, nachos, hummus and Chicago dog and honestly, the food wasnt good except for the Chicago dog. However, the service is phenominal (bartender Zeek is just about the nicest guy I have encountered), the beer nice and cold too. Prices are excellent. If the food was better, Id give 5 stars. I will still come back. I have to try the pizza next time.

Staff is great and the sports friendly environment is awesome. Burgers here are amazing. Been frequenting this place since they opened August 2014 and LOVE IT. Dont pay for NFL Sunday ticket, just go to Cruisers. Way better experience everytime. The bike racks are a huge bonus for locals and this place is a great spot to spend any afternoon with friends. $4 you call it happy hour! Best happy hour in Newport, keeps me coming back.

I had a spinach salad it was a big portions. A margarita on the double .my boyfriend had a cheese burger with seasoned fries and a 24 ounce Bud Light. she talked us into getting the desert a brownie covered with cookie dough fried with ice cream on top it was delicious ! We finished it off with the 32 ounce Bud Light and mint drink that I wont order again just because I think its just not my taste but it was good.

Had an amazing time here yesterday! This is my new spot for Sunday Funday for sure! Super bomb Champagne brunch, and the service was great! They arent cheap with the bubbly like a lot of places. Plus, they had all the NFL games with tons of TVs. We got sucked in once the owner showed us the patio, playing beer pong and corn hole until the sun went down lol. Super fun, so glad I found this bar!

Best Packers bar in town (if the only) but a great vibe and awesome place to watch any Green Bay or Chi-Town sports, as well as hang for mimosa brunch, NFL games, day drinking on the back patio with corn hole and giant jenga not to mention flip cup and beer pong. Also kid-friendly in the main restaurant area and I believe most days they will let you have pooches on the patio

Food and service is so so. Its not child friendly. Waiter we had was not friendly. Deep dish pizza took 1hr 25 minutes. Was told it would take no longer than 45 min. My order came out wrong and all they could say is sorry after waiting so long. Pizza that I ordered specifically for my kids came with spicy pepper flakes inedible. Waist of money and time

I was happy to find out the kitchen is open until 1am. We had came in the past for my boyfriends birthday and had excellent service from Casey. We fell in love with the stuffed pizza and came back the other night for it. We were greated by energetic and personable staff. Zeek made it a great evening out. We will continue to return.
