I used to work here, and the food was pretty good, but nobody ever washed the vegetables. The Chef would look at you funny if you washed your hands. So nobody ever washed their hands in the back of the kitchen. They warned us that they would get fined if the handsink wasnt clean, so we just never used it because then wed have to clean the handsink. That would take up too much time during a rush. So I recommend going when its slow, so that the cooks in the back have time to wash their hands. Ohh...The pork chop is soaked in a brine and then grilled on both sides only to be frozen solid. Then they bake it off to order. The spare ribs are seasoned all over with Lawrys and garlic powder. Then they cover them with bacon, place them on a bun pan, and mummify them with saran wrap so that no air can escape the pan. Then they put this pan in a warmer - like 180 degrees - for like 12 hours. Black people shouldnt come to this location either, because El Segundo PD is super racist, and they harass blacks all the time. The rice has a seasoning combination of salt, black pepper, and lemon zests. dont eat anything with butter. The cooks grab the butter with their bare, unwashed hands out of a large box in the walk-in fridge.

The first time I went to Salt Creek Grille during a quite brunch/lunch, one of the staff decided itd be a great time to show the space for a potential party to what appeared to be party planners. After having them stand near us talking loudly and other disruptive behaviour, we went to management. They were kind enough to provide us with a coupon to return. The second time we sat outside (Salt Creek Grille has a large amount of diverse locations to be seated) on the "earth" part of the place. Food was ok, portions well sized, service friendly. The third time we again sat outside near the pond. This time was the same, food ok, portions well sized, service friendly. If youre looking for decent food, good service, then this place will work. Unfortunately our food was never memorable. My review is only focused on day time experiences. Judging by the restaurant, the evening experience is most likely entirely different.

Expen$ive and very salty. Lunch: 2 sandwiches, 2 coffees. Price before tip was $36.50. Everything was extremely salty. The sauted spinach was the saltiest thing Ive ever tasted, aside from salted anchovies. Food might have been mediocre if it were not so salty and expensive. Their claim to fame garlic fries were pretty good, except that the garlic was garlic salt. Too salty, as was everything. Waiter was very nice, but it was impossible to look past his pretentiousness. Not only will I never visit this restaurant again, but I would never allow any friend to ever go there. Go buy yourself some fast food and fill your gas tank with the remainder of the money. Expen$ive and very salty. very bad Not worth its salt!

Over rated. Over Priced. Food is edible at best. Sent food back because is was cold in the middle. Waited and waited and waited for wine; finally got it from another server....Really....do you have to do jumping jacks to get attention. Left without my doggie bag (didnt feel like doing jumping jacks to get it) and I mean doggie bag because I didnt want another bite; my dog, Baby, would have enjoyed it. Understaffed or just bad service...not sure. Maybe both. This is my second and last time for sure. We were a party of five and all said...ehhh.

This is a go-to place for us in the South Bay. Not all the way down in the three beach communities makes it more accessible to those of us who dont live there. Food is pretty good and drinks are fine. I always try to get there in time for happy hour or do the daily drink special. Service is consistent. Sure, it can get slower during busy rushes but not unrealistically and the service is always friendly. Join their frequent diner club. There are some good incentives.

Stuffed shrimp was the best thing I had. This is the third best shrimp appetizer Ive ever had. It was really good. I had halibut with lump crab and shrimp. It was good, but not great. It was slightly dry. The mashed potatoes were very good, but the prosciutto macaroni and cheese was only ok. Staff were very friendly. If they added a steak to the stuffed shrimp, it would make a great meal. Id go back, but at that price point, Id try something different.

From Glen Beck in the bathroom, to uncooked food, to staff who are uninterested in working this place appears to be a quaint place for American cuisine, it’s not. I have been 3 times, each time forgetting how bad the previous time was, after today’s experience they go on the NEVER AGAIN list, right next to Denny’s. If it was a choice between the two I’d go to Dennys if I had to choose.

Stopped here for lunch. Decided on the bleu cheese burger. Burger could have used a bit more cheese on top, but was delivered with garlic fries piping hot. Service was excellent. Restaurant and bathrooms very clean. Decor in front of building is complemented with babbling water and fire. A little pricey, but would go again.

Visited for a meeting, sat on the back outside patio area and a server came out to get us food or drinks. she was pretty fast and very polite There are only 2 tables out back on this section that surround a fire pit. makes for a very nice relaxing atmosphere. I will be returning to try dinner and the inside area as well.

Went there with friends 5/28 just before happy hour. Great place and ambiance. I had the ribs, and my friends had salmon and ahi tuna; however, I think the garlic fries stole the show. Trumer Pils (a Pilsener) was an excellent choice of beer recommended by our waiter. The band and the music was also good.

Their steaks are great, but what I like most about this place is their ambiance. I know during the weekends they usally have a band playing and during the nights they turn on their fire pit that you can sit and stare at while you wait. The porkchop I ate was great and the waiter was friendly and attentive.

We came here for our friends farewell brunch after her wedding and it was fantastic. They had the patio reserved for our party with a breakfast buffet. Its really a beautiful restaurant and the patio is no exception. While its not the best location in the South Bay, it has parking which is a HUGE bonus.

Horrible customer service. I seated myself outdoors where they told me they would bring me a menu which they never did so I got it myself. After 15 minutes with no show of any service, we left. This was a very nice restaurant too. We were really looking forward to eating there.
