Mediterranes/Orientales Essen schmeckt in Wirklichkeit anders. (Viel besser) Es wunderte uns, dass es solche guten Bewertungen erhalten hatte, bestimmt weil die Bevölkerung aus Monterey keine wirkliche Ahnung haben, wie es Original schmeckt. Die Mitarbeiter wirkten auch mehr als demotiviert und hatten keine Lust in der gesamten Körpersprache. Der Ausdruck sagte mehr als tausend Worte. Die Falafel waren zu lange in der Fritteuse und somit staub-trocken und und das Lamm schmeckte wie Pressfleisch. Das Pita-Brot war überhaupt nicht knusprig. Das Brot schaute Original aus, aber es war typisch amerikanisch und schmeckte wie herkömmliches, amerikanisches Weißbrot. Wie so oft, bestand das bestellte Essen aus 50%, der billigsten Zutat (Reis). Bestimmt um gesättigt zu werden. Einzig der Humus war in Ordnung, deswegen 2 Sterne.

Great Mediterranean restaurant. Its similar to Chipotle, where you pick what your want in your plate. Theres different options you can get too. Choice of meets are pretty standard. Got the chicken shawarma and the gyro. The chicken was alright but not great. The gyro was good though. If its your first time I would recommend the gyro and have the staff make it the traditional way to get the full taste. Dining environment is nice and cozy. Prices are fair and affordable. I thought the amount was just slightly less than what I expected (Im used to larger servings) but I would say its pretty standard for most people. Side note. This place is located in a strip mall. Parking is easily accessible.

Nicely spiced options, chicken shawarma is the best choice. Menu and options are confusing (Tzatziki is indicated as side dish on the menu, but offered only as sauce; hummus is either replacement for meat or comes with extra surcharge). Pita available in whole-wheat style only, thats simply not an option for mediterranean food. Staff rather unfriendly and uneager to offer assistance.

The is a new little Mediterranean spot at Del Monte mall. The food was good with nice size portions...I got the toss it which is a tossed Mediterranean salad with chicken. And my friend ordered the wrap and it was huge... She said it was delicious, seasoned well and very filling. This is a nice addition to the food spots offered in the area... something different!

I love Mediterranean food and the Chipotle style option service being able to customize your order was great. The quality of food was great and I highly recommend going here. My only complaint is that I love Turkish coffee and tea and it isnt the best here. I wish it was more authentic brewed with the sugar etc.

Dametra has some nice dishes. Its standard Greek food that you would find at any mainstream Greek restaurant. Its conveniently located at the Del Monte Center in Montere. They have a lot of options for dinner, and its very healthy food.

Falafel is dry, but everything else is awesome! The sister Dametra Cafe in Carmel is our favorite restaurant in the area, but this location is much more convenient when in the mood for a bite of Mediterranean food for lunch.

Tastes really good. Its like the Mediterranean version of chipotle. Build your own wrap, salad, or plate. Starts at $8 for a wrap. But you will be full of you finish it. Definitely recommend if youre in the area!
