Great concept, apparently DOA. Theyve always had trouble with accuracy and execution with quality despite having had some great people there. The best people have moved on and now they apparently have the same attitude I despise in other places in Redmond: "We charge extra for everything we can, we cant make it right to save our lives and we resent changes." Example: I called to order and when the call was answered she put me on hold, in not the most friendly and courteous manner, where I sat for perhaps ten minutes. When she finally came back I began to order (very very slowly, sigh) and as soon as I began to tell her about the changes we wanted her apparent attitude changed to confusion, resentment and suspicion. When we finally made it through the first few changes on the first item I asked if we could get the veggies a bit heavy. Id have been happy paying a reasonable extra amount for it. Her response was that theyd have to charge me $2.50 for each veggie. The price per full topping is $2.20 according to the online ordering system so: 1) Either she was making up prices or their online system is out of date and 2) I wasnt looking for *double" toppings, just extra. Everybody else has a way to order extra (rather than double.) At this point I was having serious doubts. Previously they have not charged for sides of sauce so I thought Id explore "where their head was at". I asked if they charged for side sauces and the (Im resisting expletives) told me "We would charge you for them but the system doesnt have any way to enter them". At that point I was thinking: * Quality and service have gone out the window; * Scammer attitude of "we nickle and dime you rather than being up-front about pricing"; * Theyve always been skimpy, despite the premium prices; * This isnt the Zaw that was at least trying when they opened. So I told her "Never mind" and hung up. I was their original top supporter in Redmond and it saddens me greatly that they are now over without having ever really reached their potential. (Yet another case of expanding faster than you can support it.) FWIW - dont even bother with the other pizza places in Redmond unless youd be happy with any level of quality and service. Dominos has been doing better recently but that surely cant last.

I love them! I just had yet another fantastic experience there and want to share it. Its not fair to compare them to any other restaurant in Redmond, none come close. Why? Their SOUL ingredients: Seasonal, Organic, Unique, Local. Its like getting a pizza made from the best stuff at your farmers market and cooking it exactly the way you like it. Recipes: Im picky beyond my allergies and Zaw is loaded with flavor combinations I love. I especially like the Iron Man salad, though I get it with Chevre to avoid cows milk (allergy) and the balsamic dressing (cuz I just love balsamic). Standards: Beyond the quality ingredients they use their standards show in the care they take in their store and their attitudes toward their customers. Service: This is where they really show what they are made of. Nobody can be 100% perfect so of course they make mistakes. At the "fast food pizza" places like the Hut (or fast food places in general) I never let them remake my food - Im scared what they will do off in the back while resenting remaking my food. At a decent restaurant (which will cost you a fair bit more than Zaw, just at entry level) theyll usually offer to remake but I often get they are doing what they have to and dont really care - at those places I still just ask for a refund. At a *GREAT* restaurant you get an experience like I had at Daniels once - a coworker was not happy with their steak and the manager came out, without being requested, apologized with great sincerity, personally oversaw the remaking of the food, brought it back out personally and made sure all was well. Ive had only a couple of mistakes at Zaw and the care they take when making it right shows that same level of commitment and sincerity. In particular the manager Marissa is a star! I hope you love them as much as I do!

Another "Redmond" food option. I call them that because for the most part their overpriced and underwhelming. The ingredients, service, and quality are good, but ultimately the pizza was just so-so. Is it just me or does "Artisan" just mean too fancy to taste good? The ultra thin crust, tiny amount of sauce, and spare topping make a large here basically a personal pan pizza anywhere else. Actually, thats a good analogy. Take a personal pan pizza, stretch it to 12 or 15 inches without increasing the amount of dough, sauce, or toppings, then charge 50% than a large at other places, and youll have one of these "artisan" pies. Im not going to pretend that Papa Johns or Pizza Hut is good pizza... but Ill take them over an oversize wafer someone spilled sauce and a little cheese on. They get some stars for carrying a lot of local craft beers and wines that they sell along with their pies at a reasonable price. But since their across the street from a Trader Joes and a QFC, its not as exciting as you might think. If extreme Neapolitan style pizza is your thing, then youll like this place. If youre like me, and you just want a pizza? Try Zeeks up the street, for a slightly better option for the same price point, or Romios for much better bang for your buck.

Pizza looked okay but sucked. Paid more than I would have at other places, really a poor value. Staff was busy using their phones when we walked in. Staff was not able to make pairings of wine and food. They seemed disinterested in selling their products or providing service. A negative experience for sure. Definitely avoid this place...

Service is not what it used to be! This was once a weekly tradition for our family, for a gourmet pizza service we happily paid the premium. There are no customer accommodations or willingness to work with frequent customers.

Really awesome take-n-bake pizzas with flavors thatll satisfy any foodie. Pretty spendy pizza (especially for take-n-bake), but you definitely get what you pay for. Would recommend to anyone.

I love their thin wheat crust baked as crispy as possible... with any pizza from simple cheese to veg head or mushroom fest will do.

I got a great deal here with a coupon - good place, quality ingredients, but I doubt Ill be back at full price.
