When I lived in NorCal, MP was one of my most visited spots for dinner. Because its AYCE, its best for people who eat a lot or if youre really hungry. In a buffet-style setting, you fill up a bowl with meat, vegetables, and sauces (with whatever floats your boat), then you give it to a mighty grill man who cooks your concoction to perfection. While the meat is frozen, I was always happy with the quality of the food at MP. Unlike many AYCE BBQs, I never got food poisoning in 15+ trips to MP BBQ. They do a a really thorough job of cooking your food all the way through. Also, theres a soft serve machine, spring rolls, and some other filler foods when you need a break from going BBQ only.

This is a great place forward folks that have varying tastes and preferences. Also, great for pregnant mamas with gestational diabetes. You choose from a buffet style "fixings" bar, noodles if you like or go carb free, your choice of protein (beef, chicken, pork, lamb or tofu), assorted veggies, final toppings such as bean sprouts, cilantro and jalapeños then the sauces. They cook it up for you right there while you wait and, voilà, its done. But wait. There are more topping options! Like, sesame seeds, sesame oil, garlic powder, curry powder, and Sriracha or teriyaki sauce. They even have some precooked options in another buffet but the Mongolian BBQ is the way to go.

Why are there no mongolian BBQ places in SF? The closest one we could find was Menlo Park. It is worth the trip though. Good selection of meats and veggies and great selection of sauces so you can customize your dish. There is also egg drop soup available, fried rice, white rice, fried wontons and soft serve ice cream all included in the lunch or dinner price. The only add-on are drinks. My only wish was for hot & sour soup.

The best Mongolian Grill Ive found in the bay area. I make it a point to stop here every time Im traveling down to the valley from SF, and its basically a life event every time I do. Freshest stuff, best quality meat, and great sauce and seasoning guidance for the newbies (pro tip: do one bowl for your meat and one for your veggies for maximum stacking capabilities.)

Love the food bt no one asked what we would like to drink. There was water already on the table so I guess thats what I was suppose to have.lol Also what is the difference between the lunch and dinner menu for the price difference? I was kind of upset that we still had to be charged $7.99 for my grandson for eating just one bowl of rice. Hes a picky eater

This place is not located facing the road, so maybe that explains the low number of reviews, but I loved the food/service here. Its $15 for the buffet. They have a variety of meats to choose from and mix with your noodles, as well as vegetarian options. The chefs are very friendly and you dont have to wait too long for your food. Awesome place!

I went to dinner with three adults and three kids and they added an 18% tip. That worked out to be $26.00! I talked to the owner and he said there was nothing he could do. The food was great, but we did not receive $26.00 worth of service. If you go with more than six people, split the group so you dont have to pay the service charge.

Pretty expensive for what you get. I wish the sauces werent so watered down ... everything starts to taste the same after awhile. The items at the hot bar are pretty poor quality too. I dont think Ill be returning. I prefer the mongolian bbq chain at the mall and its much cheaper.

Good food and a fun place to come with family or friends. The sauces are weak but thats because they cook the liquid off well so just use plenty of them. Only negative is that the decor could be improved a lot - it feels like a cafeteria inside

Amazing prices for amazing food. We come from the tri valley almost once a week just to get their food. There is nothing like it anywhere near where we live. The staff is super friendly and best of all its all you can eat!!! Highly recommended.

If you want to stuff your face, this is a good place. If you want quality food, skip it. Mix your own wok and let them make it is a good concept, but the food here isnt that great. Also a hot bar of deep fried Chinese things.

bad and unfresh food. few choices and.dirty environment. It is not worth this price. It also will charge you more than what is showed on your bill. it charged me ten more dollar. This is not a good place to go.

Its ok my son loves noddles. The main thing about this place is the price its kinda high. U can go over the DB in to Newark/Fremont and find better quality food and better prices.

Not sure why this place is so popular! Very limited item selection and there is just one person working the big wok thing when I when there so it was a slow moving line.

All you can eat. Nice selection of meat & veg, sauces are pretty plain, could use some improvement. Crispy spring rolls ❤️ It was about $15 each for lunch on Sunday.

Like the meat and veggie options. The sauces are a bit watery for my taste, but good food for the price.
