It would be pretty hard to do worse than this place, and still call yourself a BBQ restaurant. The food is basically some sort of reasonably cooked food (chicken and briquet in our case) just drenched in BBQ sauce. Not, coated in, and cooked mind you, literally they take a decently well cooked piece of chicken, pork, or beef (I have to admit the meat is actually a good texture and temp) and ladle a Vinegar based BBQ sauce onto it. And the "Texas Toast" makes it clear that these people have never been to a real BBQ joint. Its a poorly buttered sandwich roll that has been toasted on one side. Its not a bad meal... but its terrible BBQ. Its a bit pricey if you dont get a special. The beans are abysmal (just serve Bushes Baked Beans if you dont have a recipe!). And the service is friendly, but its clear they could give a hoot if you were there or not. I cant speak to the sandwiches, but all in all, Id rather have Famous Daves.

If you have no ability to taste anything, this is the perfect place for you... Because the food is pretty darn bland and no taste anyways... The macaroni salad... The potato salad... Zero taste... Me and my family were in the area and decided to give this place a go. The sliders were ok, nothing to write home about.. The Texas toast... Well... I think they focus more on the toast part because thats essentially all it was... There was zero hint of anything... Anywhere else I go theres at least a little seasoning... Even the baked beans somehow had no flavor.... The establishment itself is clean and neatly kept.. The hostess ladies are... Well they seem nice... And at least theyre definitely not bad looking... So this place has that going for it.... Other than that... It might be a great place if youre extremely high and happen to be walking by..... And they are The only place open....

The atmosphere is clean and modern for a restaurant in a strip mall. Friendly staff and quick service. As for the food..First thing I noticed was that this was the only BBQ joint Ive ever been in that didnt have the aroma of smoke or BBQ. A tell tale sign that the kitchen is reheating most of their meat. When the meal arrived it was what I susupected it would be; underwhelming. The pork ribs were tender but lacked any smokey flavor in the meat. The brisket was a bit dry and the beef ribs though moist were unremarkable. The BBQ sauce here does most of the work. The sides are clearly pre-packaged bulk products with all the flavor and texture of cafeteria food. Wish I could say give more positive feedback, but as calling this Texas BBQ is one of many missteps 3Pigs BBQ makes.

3 Pigs Bar B-Que has many elements that found not worth making any return trip for. To start off, while the BBQ is medium decent, It in no way justified the steep borderline insulting prices they charge for what you are receiving. Let me put it this way, I can (and have) eat small portions of really good BBQ for a higher than normal price and been happy as well as large portions of decent BBQ for higher price and also been happy. But what I dont like is paying round about $20 for two lunch sandwiches (about the size of a value menu burger @ any fast food place) and a dollop sized side (coleslaw, etc..) . When I left I was still and wanting BBQ more than ever. Also the most of the employees except for the cashier seem to have an attitude that was off putting.

I had the turkey sandwich. It comes smothered in bbq sauce so you cant really taste the turkey. The sauce also made the bun soggy and it fell apart about half way through. The baked beans were good but the potato salad was over dressed and the cole slaw was under dressed. The tea was delicious and my daughter liked the baked lays potato chips. A friend had the sandwich with brisket and a hot link on it and he said the meat was delicious but the bread got soggy as well. The price was a little steep for what we got. Just two of us eating, and we both ordered normal meals, and it was $35. So the meat, beans and tea are good. Soggy bread, potato salad and slaw are bad in my experience.

Im what you may call an extra fluffy guy. Although I can be picky eater I never not eat something. I can honestly say that I literally threw up in my mouth after having the #3 sandwich and hotlink special. Cardboard bun/roll, sugary "hot" (not hot) BBQ sauce, and baked beans that would have been better out of a can. For the $28 dollar bill after a soda and a lame "piglet" pork sandwich for my wife, which reminded me of a 3rd grade sloppy Joe from elementry cafeteria I say "Dont go to this place." plus the Latina attitude behind the counter is what Id expect at a bodega in Wapato of Eastern Washington!

One of these places that pretends to give you bbq by slathering a lot of "barbecue" sauce on everything. The only thing possibly worth eating in my meal were the sides -- the beans and coleslaw were ok. Neither the pork ribs nor the brisket came anywhere close to being real bbq. The ribs had little taste other than the cloyingly sweet taste of the sauce. The brisket had less taste, no smoke and was actually tough. Brisket properly cooked on a smoker for 11 or 12 hours should be fork tender to eat. Good brisket takes time. The brisket and the rest of the meal was a waste of my time and money.

Coming from Vegas, we have plenty of bbq joints that could match the "southern" style but Seattle doesnt have much in the BBQ category. Having said that, the quality of ribs and taste is above par and very price affordable. This is a casual sit down foodery not a fancy restaurant. Also the manager/owner seems to care highly of his staff and making sure customers are satisfied. To bring it home; Of course you can find juicy ribs in higher end establishments but you will find a juicy bill on your table too.

I am a southerner and HUGE BBQ fan and may therefore not the typical reviewer. Albeit this was NOT GOOD BBQ. The brisket was not tender and lacked taste, the ribs lacked meat and were also tough, sauce was horrible and the Chili was the worst I have ever had in my entire life!! It looked like man-which. The potato salad was no better then Costco. Then factor the price into my review and well....stay away...never waste your money or time.

I got a sliced beef sandwich. It was only okay... nothing impressive. The sauce is liquid. Medium has hardly any bite. Their spicy sauce is weaker than any bbq sauce Ive ever had. My side of beans had long hair inside... cornbread was ridiculously dry. Pecos pit bbq in Sodo seattle is worlds better than this place. I will not return to 3 pigs.

Ordered a spicy pork sandwich with a hot link on top and a side of slaw. Sandwich was decent. Slaw was awful. It didnt have any sauce but I believe it was supposed to be mayo based. Sandwich didnt justify the prices, however, if you need a BBQ fix in Bellevue its okay.
