Had a lovely dinner out at Koryo Kalbi Korean BBQ in Oakland, Not going to lie was intending on going to Bowld but ended up at this place instead. It was lovely affair with grill tables thru out and the waiter that greeted us was super friendly and nice. We ordered the simple A menu, We started off with Beef Brisket, Pork Belly, Small Intestines, Chicken Balgogi. The best of that IMO was Beef Brisket and Chicken Bal GoGi, the worst was the small intestines which was chewy (Which might because we didnt know how long to cook it). The banchan were nice addition though I wish there had been more green banchan offered. I also ordered a Socho Cocktail in Strawberry. This place had tons of character and authenticity which is lovely. The portions were perfect as well so if you are craving some korean bbq hit this place up!

The place is cute, but the food was just "meh", service and cleanliness is definitely lacking. I went there at noontime just to try it out. I wondered why such a cute place could be so quiet during lunchtime. (I was literally the only one in the entire place.) The waiter was less than welcoming. As I waited for the soft tofu soup I ordered, I heard some loud and long series of coughing coming from the kitchen. I later saw who was the source of all that racket; the serving lady. She didnt care to cover her mouth or turn her head away as she prepared herself tea. I was super grossed out while eating as I listened to her cough some more, followed by a lot of phlegm hacking and spitting in the back. I dont understand all the 4 and 5 stars for this place.

Delicious Korean BBQ! A group of us had dinner here on a Monday evening. The food is delicious! I ordered the the sliced beef BBQ and my partner ordered the sliced chicken one. Both were very yummy!! We ordered the onion pancake too. It was a good choice as well. Our friends seemed happy with what they ordered too. I tasted the short ribs BBQ but preferred my sliced beef one. Like many Korean restaurants, this one provides sides for free. Prices were reasonable too. Happy customers.

The food is average, but this is coming from someone who lived in Koreatown, LA their whole life. I personally felt like the food was pretty bland and didnt have that much flavor. My friends, however, enjoyed it, and they were willing to come back.

Why are we here? Dont know but lets order a bunch of random stuff. Result? Awesome food. 4 starts for the dusty location, landlord needs to spruce up, but it feels like Berkeley of yester year.

Okay Korean food. I love Korean food, and would rather drive down Telegraph in Oakland for better food. The food here was either too salty or it was under-seasoned.

Ive eaten here twice now and cant stop coming back! I absolutely love their short ribs and Bi Bim Bap. I think Ill be back again tomorrow. Great stuff.
