MUST READ -----Everett ---- I only give 3 stars because of one lady that works there , I loved the other girl that came out and took my order there was like a line out the door when I walked it and the mixed girl or Hispanic girl so was nice omg loved her she was taking everyones order so fast and talking with everyone she sold me and our team on the 4 meats 4 sides and holy cow it was amazing the other lady who was white wasnt nice at all she acted as if we were a bother to her but that mixed , Hispanic gal she even came back to the table and was laughing and joking around with us telling us how was your thanksgiving feast we loved her even tried to offer her a job but she said she liked working there and I felt like the 7 of us all got to know her thats some true southern hospitality even though shes from Chicago yeah but I give one star to the older white lady rude the food was good but the mixed girl made it all the more fun to enjoy the meal and I give her 5 stars easy 5 stars

This was our second time at J and L. The first time was in Snohomish at the original. We were very pleased with the quality of the BBQ and were excited to try the Everett location. We had the 4/4 family meal. They dont have the rib tips here but substituted the tri tip and were really impressed with the meats once again. Sauces are tasty but meat is good by itself. Can recommend all sides except for the potato salad since I like a bit more spice and mustard in mine. Overall excellent food. Will recommend to friends.

We had a workplace gathering and ordered several of their dishes. Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Cornbread, Honey butter. I have to say it is the best weve had. Weve tried other companies for our Company events and even privately. J & L has got it down. Great flavor, just enough smoke and seasoned, Tender moist and pulls apart. GREAT JOB J & L. We will all be back and we are having you cater our company party.

We had the 3 meat, 3 sides meal. We chose ribs, brisket, and chicken with potato salad, Cole slaw, and beans. The ribs were flavorless, the brisket was good but very fatty, and the chicken was chewy. The potato salad had no flavor, the Cole slaw was bland, and the beans were okay. All in all, I wouldnt recommend it to anyone, and I wont be going back.

Finally a good BBQ place in Everett! Tri-Tip is delicious and the ribs are fantastic! Pulled pork was good as well but the ribs I think are their best dish! Unfortunately the sides were a little underwhelming but their cornbread is fantastic! Great BBQ sauce and they have three varieties; mild medium and hot. Highly recommended!

Had the brisket and pulled pork. Both were excellent. The corn bread is served with honey-butter and the beans ... well, you just have to try those beans.

The meat is plentiful and very well prepared. Made a special stopover on our way back from Battle Creek. Stop on in...you will not be disappointed!

Very tasty Southern style BBQ, not all covered with sauce like Western style. Hot link sausage is really good.
