I have seen a few checked ins from our foodies friend so we thought to give it a try. The place was a bit busy so we waited for 20 mins to be seated. At first glance the restaurant looks like it was an italian restaurant in its previous life with wine bottles decor, arched door and terracotta floor tiles. But the signs and place smells like a Korean restaurant. The menu was quiet impressive with selections of soups, fish meats and noodles. We ordered the usual Kalbi beef, fried flounder (because we love simply fried fish) and the egg soup. The fish came first and it was like bigger than the size of my hand. The skin was crispy and meat was flaky with just enough seasoning. It was heavenly. The Kalbi came second. The sizzling smoky aroma from the iron plate was enticing and the taste was devine. Tender and not overly sweet. Finally the egg soup was soft and flavorful. Oh and all the accoutrements of side dishes were just as well prepared. No wonder our foodies friend likes it. We do too!

Having moved from silicon valley and finding a second home at SJ Omogari in San Jose, we had given up on finding good Korean food after relocating to Bothell. When searching, wed venture over toward Shoreline and Edmonds and find _okay_ food (or good but expensive food), but nothing that made the trip worthwhile. Korea House is like God was listening to our prayers. Im afraid Im kind of hung up on dol sot bi bim bap, so thats what I ordered here and it was _perfect_. The ingredients mixed perfectly with the seasoned meat and the rice crisped, all paired with some fantastic side dishes (all of them were as good as anywhere else and their pickled daikon was better than the rest). The service was friendly and efficient. The place felt new and clean, with an eclectic but appealing ambiance. The prices were reasonable... not inexpensive, but I felt like I got what I paid for. Probably not a great place for kids, but you can bet were going to become regulars.

I didnt think Id find decent Korean BBQ in this area, but I was wrong and Im glad that I was proven so. First things first - the large size BBQ dishes are supposed to feed 2, but I ate a large and part of a small. YMMV will this one, but it explains why its $32 for the one dish of BBQ short ribs. The service is EXCELLENT, but no one really asked if we wanted refills on the sides. The choice of sides were also a little different than what we were used to. For example, we had potato chunks instead of mashed potatoes. The cucumber had a bit of a spicy bits to it, but I liked it a lot more than the regular ones at the other restaurants. I also like how some Korean BBQ restaurants give grilled mackerel on the side, but this place charges $5 for them. All in all, definitely one of the best in the area. I will for sure be back.

The best restaurant service Ive had (both in Korea and United States). Family owned and loved, the servers and owner make you feel like part of the family. In fact, my husband and I have to go at least once per month to get our "fix." The servers have great personalities, too. They are always upbeat and cheerful. Never tried Korean food? Ask the servers for help on how to eat certain dishes or whats the best beginner dish (try the bibimbap or soondubu). Get the full experience with their roasted corn tea! I personally lived in S. Korea and this restaurant has the most authentic tasting food Ive had in Seattle - Hands down! The food, service, and ambiance of this place is a magnet for any food adventurer. I highly recommend you to try this place!

Oh, where do I start? The food - indescribably delicious. This would be my "stranded on a deserted island" food of choice. This is real, fresh, home-style hearty food. Anorexic hipsters need not bother, your facade will crumble & you will take home every last morsel of leftovers. The staff - this feels more like going to Grandmas house have dinner with the younger cousins doing the serving - cousins who are showing how happy they are to have you home and who are really trying to impress Grandma with how good they are. The ambiance - unpretentious yet pretty, but when you are surrounded by families - Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and many others- all enjoying themselves, the decor, lovely as is is, becomes secondary.

The Pork was so of fat, they should have called it pork belly instd of pork. We had a dish that was NOT pork belly but thats what I felt like I was eating. They had no white rice. I get it.. you want to be health conscious, but what Asian restaurant doesnt even offer white rice for a choice? I ended up eating black rice which was also a dissappointment. The customer service was average, but for an upscale restaurant I expected it to be above average. When your entree is $30, you expect it to be GREAT!! This was so mediocre its pathetic. The decor was the only thing I could say was great, but if I wanted to look at decor I would have gone to a real estate open house. So far under parr!!

Having lived near highway 99 corridor, Im exposed to a lot of Korean restaurants. This restaurant is above average in that the food was of good portions. One star taken away because prices here are higher than most at other Korean restaurants. Tofu soup on average cost at most $10 at most places, here it cost $12. The kimchi fried rice was salty, but it was large and worth its cost. I picked tofu to go with the fried rice and there was a healthy amount of tofu. The fried mackerels were plump and meaty, but too salty. Side dishes were typical, except for the tofu-in-sauce dish, which i liked and which i had never seen offered by any other restaurant before.

This place is the closest you can get if you live near Mill Creek. My wife and I love our Korean food, and we normally would drive to shoreline or Edmonds just for it. However, we came across this place and gave it a shot. And oh my lord, its freaking awesome. Great quality. Grea Ingredients. Great portions. INSANELY AWESOME OVER THE TOP SERVICE. As Im writing this, they just told us they bumbed our two person order ahead of larger tables. The service rocks!!! This place rocks! Just dont ask questions. Look no further. Go here.

I came here for dinner with a group of 11 total people. The staff was very accommodating and tried to keep the group together. In the end, there were eight in one of their longest tables and three in an adjacent booth. We had a very chatty child with us, and the gentleman who attended to us was always friendly and included the child in the conversations. The food portions are big, so we ended up with take home boxes. Its nice that Bothell is getting more diverse restaurants...definitely a big change from over a decade ago.

We were welcomed very friendly, the same guy who welcomed us was our waiter. Hes service was outstanding, we dont know Korean food, so he provided us as much information as we could get to get an idea on what were going to eat, we were starving at that time, and we were just driving around to see anything else to eat, Im so thankful that we stopped right here. I dont recall the names of the food we chose, but it sure was delicious. Even my 2 little ones liked the food!!Well definitely keep coming back.
