Appetizers (edamame, gyoza, and agedashi tofu) were great. We also ordered three special rolls: Kamakura, Dragon, and Lion King. The fish and unagi on the rolls were fresh. The shrimp tempura in the rolls was great. The rice was not too thick. One note about the Lion King roll: they seem to glaze it with mayonnaise. I personally like it, but some people may feel differently about that. I take off one star for service, which could have been friendlier.

It was our first time in San Jose and decided to go there for dinner. The service was really fast and the food was amazing. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. We had the pork katsu, chicken katsu, beef teriyaki and chicken teriyaki, they were all really good! They came with a salad and miso soup starters which were also quite nice. Definitely recommend going there!

The sushi was OK, the udon soup was fair, but the chicken was absolutely inedible. I cant believe that they served chicken that was so dry and rubbery. I wouldnt eat it if I was starving. This was served last, and left one person in our party with nothing to eat. Totally ruined our dinner. Absolutely unacceptable. I would not go again.

The staff is very friendly. They know many customers by name. The food is excellent. This is one of those places in Los Gatos that residents are bound to bump in to each other. Every time we are there we see other Fisher families. A real LG institution! Everyone in town seems to go there regularly.

Stopped by on a late Wednesday evening and there was no crowd. Service was okay. The octopus salad, hamachi sashimi, and hamachi with macadamia nuts roll was good. The eel in the roll was a slightly overpowering (fishy) though.

When I worked in Los Gatos, this place was a staple for our lunches. Now that I no longer work in Los Gatos, its a rare treat to dine here. Their rolls are unique and very delicious but I cant say no to their Chirashi.

The food was great! We had great sushi and sashimi and a salmon donburi. The service is not excellent, but not terrible either. Its just a little bit slow because there are only two waiters for the whole place.

Food was OK but not great: lots of mayonnaise in the rolls for instance. Service was quite poor - several mistakes in our order, a long wait for food and I heard mistakes on another table as well.
