Great whiskey selection with even better made drinks. I loved that while the bar was in the heart of Little Tokyo, the atmosphere had a very new american feel to it with just a bit of japanese fusion. No food, but there is an option to have pizza delivered here if you want. Instead of the traditional trivia night, they had "Cards Against Humanity" night on Wednesdays! This was a great change, where they even had prizes (including free shots!) for when your card was chosen. The MC was really great at getting the crowd into it too. A perfect chill bar for good drinks without it being too crazy!

Ive been here multiple times and every time drinks were great. Service can be a hit or miss- was standing at the bar for awhile waiting to order but the bartender behind the bar was more eager to flirt with another customer than take my order... but there were also bartenders who were great at giving suggestions and were friendly. Music can be quite loud so its definitely not a good place if you want to chat over a drink. They have a wide selection of whiskeys so definitely order their flights. All in all Wolf and Crane is a good place to hang out at and have a drink with friends.

Really dig this neighborhood Whiskey bar, as there is no signage but yes its just North of Subway. Parking (They do validate at certain lots for 2 hours) for me was on the streets. This place has quite a bit of Japanese Whiskeys selections. (Hibiki, Suntory, Yamazaki, Nikka) Daniel the bar manager is very friendly and knows his craft. The bar consists of 4 other mixologists here. Its all day Happy Hour on Sundays. There are also craft beer in stock, just take a lot at the chalk wall. I love the 80s music they play here right out of their phones, totally dig it!

yes, wolf & crane is the newest bar in Little Tokyo. It is super chill, hip and best of all, unpretentious. They have a good number of craft beers and tasty mixed cocktails. Theres no food but I was told by the bartender that you can bring in outside food. Happy hour is weeknights, 5-7 Theres jazz night, game night and also a dj spinning on different nights of the week! Look out for the logo of a wolf & a crane when trying to find this place. Its also right next to Subway! Cheers!

This super laid back bar is conveniently located in Little Tokyo. Perfect for stopping by and taking in the cool local vibes in a casual, clean and friendly atmosphere. Wolf and Crane takes a cue from Japanese whiskey bars and does a good job of serving signature whiskey cocktails. Its also not very large and gets pretty busy as it gets later in the evening, so be sure to get there early to claim a spot.

A small and dimly lit bar surrounded by many eateries. This is good and bad. Good on a possibly dead Tuesday night to go out for a late drink and to have a nice conversation. Bad on a Saturday night because of the crowd and sauna-like temperatures. Notably good happy hour specials include a beer/whiskey pairing for only $5! Parking can be a little tricky.

Great interior, awesome beers on tap, cool staff, and a hip crowd tends to give me cause to hang my hat at a bar. But they had me at the manga covered walls in the bathroom. This is a great spot to kick back, bring your friends, or meet some new ones while enjoying a craft beer or cocktail. Definitely a joint to keep in your rotation while in LT or AD.

Small but good group of people here on a Tuesday evening around 9. Excellent selection of hard liquor (especially Japanese Whiskey). They also have some very tasty drinks on the menus. The bartenders are knowledgeable and not too bad to look at, either. The bar is also in an area I felt safe in and is well-lit at night.

Amazing bartenders that will take the time to get to know what you like and make something that you will love and have likely never heard of. Patrick was great and made "a quick" drink into three or four. Great people and drinks if you want to find something new or just have a comfortable, familiar drink.

Great atmosphere with a great concept of only serving beers that are brewed within a 100 miles of the bar with brewery distances listed on the menu. The mixed drinks are also very creative. Check out the classic manga wallpaper in the bathrooms that reminds you this place is in the heart of Little Tokyo.

An actual, real, live bar. No food served here. Just great cocktails and a constantly rotating selection of terrific beers. An attractive and chic, but still completely comfortable atmosphere. And of course, the bartenders are friendly, accommodating, and just generally the greatest. I love this place.

Only been here twice during my last two visits back home, but already love it. Its a cool little bar in the heart of Little Tokyo that serves amazing cocktails and has a fantastic selection of Japanese whiskey! Do yourself a favor grab a drink here if youre in the area! Its metro accessible, too!

This is one of the smallest bars in little Tokyo and it gets unreasonably packed. Its a trendy spot and a lot of people flock here on the weekends to grab a drink. Just expect to be bumping shoulders with nearly everyone in here. The music is also usually great though.

The place is gorgeous. Biggest selection of Japanese whisky I have seen so far in town. Wish they had some finger food to go along with the place. The environment is still nice. The cocktails were pretty good. Not crowded, not to loud. Will be back again soon.

The bartenders, the beers, the ambiance, the whisky and whisky knowledge are all 5 stars. Ive been going here since they opened. This place sets the standard for Little Tokyo bars. Chill vibes, good peeps & great drinks. If you dont know, now you know.

Wolf and Crane is just the perfect spots to go to when you are looking for some Red Label as everything served here is used with Red Label and asian flavors which is pretty good! its a nice spot to stop by as you are bar hopping around Little Tokyo!

Come here for their $10 Beer + Whiskey Combo!! Definitely worth it here. There are seats inside to lounge around, and theres also a separated area for smokers. You will get a good buzz going here. Depending on the nights, you will see a crowd.

Excellent selection of Japanese whiskies that vary greatly in prices. The rich, dark wooden bar and tables give it a Japanese feel, and the minimal lighting makes it a a bit more intimate. They have a DJ on Saturday nights after 10.

This bar is pretty poppin! They have a $9 special for a shot of Jameson whisky and a can of Saporro, not a bad deal since the shot itself is already $9 I would guess. It can get pretty load here but a pretty good vibe here.

Loved this place ! Even though tiki - drinks are not my type of drinks , the ambience and service made us stay for few more drinks . Really cool concept behind hidden door , would totally recommend for out of towners

The very best spot for Japanese whiskey in Los Angeles. Casual atmosphere with a fun, diverse and creative crowd. I love the outdoor patio. Be sure to ask the bartenders what the whiskey special of the day is!
