I was assaulted last night (May 30 2014 at 1:57am) at this place BY the "bouncersecurity" for trying to finish my water...according to him I Was trespassing !!! When the police arrived the employees at this place took his side and apparently according to them "I hit him first" yet hes the one who layed his hands on me! Hes the one that reached and forcefully tried to take the plastic cup of water (yes it was water!) out of my hand while I was attempting to take a drink. And supposeably the cameras were not "working". I will spread the word about this and I will further be in contact with authorities this is absolutely unacceptable ..its not ok for the security to repeatedly hit me over the head over a damn cup of water (especially when hes the one that told me I could not take the cup outside) .

Yes it really is overpriced! Mainly a "hipster" "Alternate lifestyle"hangout when i was there i thought i was at the wrong kinda bar due to 3 defferent guy couples on mandates kissing. I still stayed anyway and practically had to begg the bartender for thier overpriced beer ( very limited selection of beers, just lame) My bill came out to $40 dollars and i left a $5 tip (handwriten on the tab) the next day they charged My credit card $50.95!!! $5.95 stolen from me. These guys are just criminals :-

Been lovin this place since before the whole hipsters movin in thing began. Movin forward... It doesnt matter what crowd is there. What matters is that the bartenders are always, Clean, dope, friendly, helpful and on point. Shout out to one girl Erika!! Pool table, small, quaint. Old school dive bar feel. Dont go if your into fancy smancy places.. We dont want you there either! Be vool stay chill, and youll have a great

This is one of the best bars in Los Angeles. Cool friendly vibe classic saloon layout with great lighting Its clean and has a breezy outdoor patio with smoking and drinking. The cocktails and beer are always changing. Staff is nice and attentive. I always meet interesting people. Djs playing all kinds of great music with dancing and a regular full on metal night (I think on Tuesdays). Place rocks.

The place isnt that bad but it is so annoying the fact that they overcharge... I had read here about this problem but didnt care and guess what... Overcharged a lot!! After I paid (I didnt even complain) I asked the price of something and the guy already started attacking me because he was sure I was going to complain about being overcharged. So disturbing! I definitely wont go back.

Ita ok. Way back in late 90s early 2000s I had herd some local gang members killed a male. For what reason? Idk. Its changed alot since I grew up around the area. Very good taste in music, not too crowded. I got 3 beers and 2 cinnamon whiskey shots for 37.00$ saw my statements I had been charged 8.00$ more. -_-

Quiet bar, although I know it can sometimes get packed. Big spacious patio, good beer selection. Average cocktails. Great jukebox for music. There is pool and a dance floor. Parking is on the street or behind the bar there is a limited amount.

Great neighborhood dive bar with a large outdoor patio and a youngish energetic hipster crowd. Note that patio is mostly smokers - if you venture out, expect your hair and clothes to smell a bit smokey when you get home.
